Hello:
My husband and I are thinking of doing our first IUI this summer and I was wondering what the costs are and if there are any tricks on getting the cost down.

HI Mary,
I know for me the cost has been around $700-$800, but I think it depends on the insurance you have and if your dr. participates with your insurance. Also, it depends on the meds you are going to be on. Clomid, Femara were much cheaper than the shots for me, but luckily my insurance covers the shots- otherwise they would've been more than the actual IUI. Call your insurance company and see what they say and check with your RE's office- they can vary in price depending on if it is a private practice or not.
