Anyone try Natural Cycle IVF?

Hi. Had our second consult today and we are prime candidates for natural cycle IVF. No stimulation drugs, they use the one egg you naturally produce and fertilize it via ICSI. I am excited and scared. We start monitoring for folicle size this weekend with an HCG shot probably next Friday and retrieval 36 hours later (no anesthesia.)
Anyone been through natural IVF or have any stories to share please?? Doesn't seem like too popular of a topic on many mesage boards! Thanks.

No, I have not heard of this and it does not sound common. You must be young since you are taking a chance. IVF is very expensive:) Good luck.

it is actually getting more popular. It is alot cheaper than stimulated IVF, approximately $2500 per cycle, which is comporable to IUI cost.

I am also interested in more information about natural IVF. I have an appt. this afternoon w/my doc to talk about an IVF study...but would much rather opt for a "natural" approach. Thanks!
