I just finished my 3rd negative IVF cycle. (did have previous positive that resulted in a son)
This cycle was an antegon cycle.
I transfered 4 - 7b, 7b, 7c, 6a These were the best I have had in these cycles. Is the lack of any 8 celled a sign of diminished quality?
At 38 I am thinking it is time to move on to donor eggs - what are the success rates with DE currently?

It is difficult to determine the developmental potential of these embryos. The embryo's cell division cycle is tightly regulated and timed to a starting point of fertilization. Depending of the observation timepoint (early Day 3 or late Day 3), it is possible that the embryos were assessed while in the process of reaching the 8-cell stage. Alternatively, they may have already arrested development. Impossible to say. So, it is not necessarily a sign of diminished quality. However, the cycle was a bust, and after 3 failed cycles, you have correctly surmised that your best chance of achieving a pregnancy is through the use of donor eggs. The success rate will depend on the individual program. Most programs in the U.S. are reporting between 50-60% live birth rates when donated eggs are utilized.
