Hi,

I recently completed a cycle where i stimmed for a total of 10 days--8 days on 225 units of gonal f and 2 days of 150 units of gonal f.

My e2 level on day 11 was 3100 and there were only 5 mature follicles--and an additional 5 follicles between 10 and 14 and a few more under 10. I triggered on day 11 as my doctor was concerned about the e2 levels. my doctor said that he was okay with the 5 mature follicles but would have thought there would be more mature given the e2 levels.

9 eggs were retrieved and only 3 mature--2 fertilized iwth icsi.

does the above suggest that i have bad eggs or that a different protocol should be followed next time. why would the e2 levels be so high with so few mature eggs?

thanks for your help.

I t doesn't mean that you have bad eggs, it means that your E2 level so high and that mess up the eggs and it will nor make them go throught.
that whappen with me , first i was n't pay atention to my two IVF , but my last one my E2 level was 1088 .
So i read an artical that the best range to get perfect eggs that E2 has to between 300-800
it seem that it is the best way for doctors to control us and make us repeat the cycle many time.
