endometrium lining...please help

Dr. Smith,

I am going to donor eggs. I am on estrogen to build my lining. After 2 weeks my lining is at 7mm and has not increased in the pasted couple of days, like it is just sitting at 7mm. In past stim cycles there seemed to be no problem with the lining thickness. Is 7mm enough to support a pregnency? What can I do to increase the blood flow/ circulation into the uterus? Is my body not balanced for some reason on this cycle that it is not naturally producing what it needs to support a healthy fetus? Why would the lining not continue to build?

(I have never had children and they say my uterus is very small...normal for my age and never having kids).

I do not know if I have asked the right questions or asked them correctly

BTW hank you for all of your recent input. I appreciate being able to talk to you

This is medical question and is out of my field of expertise. I'll try to answer it, but I suggest you post your question on Dr Jacobs Infertility 101 Message Board. He may be able to give you insight that I cannot.

Although pregnancies do occur when the endometrium is less than 8mm, the normal thickness is considered to be 10-12mm. You should discuss the posibility of increasing your estrogen dose with your doctor. Some programs use specially compounded Viagra vaginal suppositories to increase blood flow to the endometrium. However, the clinical efficacy of Viagra suppositories is yet to be established.
