Hi,
This is my first post. We have just undergone our 1st IVF ICSI cycle due to MFI. We collected 9 eggs of which 7 were mature and 5 fertilised. On Day 3 we had 3 high quality embryos and 2 low quality which they expected. They went for the 5 day transfer which was yesterday.
Unfortunately when we spoke to the embryologist none of the embryos had made it to the Blastocyst stage. We had one Compacting Embryo which she described as between day 4 and 5 and almost at blastocyst so it could be slow. We had another which was at Morula stage and transferred both.
My question is do we still have a chance with the compacting embryo and I see in a lot of forums that it is sometimes referred to as compacting morula, are these different terms?
