doc
i went in for a pregnancy test five days after a 6 day blastocyst transfer due to confusion in my re's office. they did the test and it was negative. when i called them on it, they admitted that i had come in too early and that i should come in again at what will be nine days post transfer for another pregnancy test.
i'd like to know if there is any chance that the result will be positive at nine days post transfer if it was negative at five days post, or are they humoring me?
thank you for your time and your honest opinion.

The first test was performed too early to detect hCG in the blood, so the results should not be considered at all (they are meaningless). They are not humoring you. The test should be performed, at the earliest, at 9 days post transfer.

Good luck.
