What are the benefits/drawbacks of Lupron v. Antagon? Under what circumstances would you recommend Antagon instead of Lupron. It is my understanding lupron is the typical protocol at most clinics. Does lupron typically produce better quality eggs?

I think Dr Jacob (a Reproductive Endocrinologist) can answer most of your questions better than I. Please also post your questions on Dr Jacob's Infertility 101 Message Board.
From an embryologist point of view, the "quality" of the egg is not affected by either Lupron or Anatagon (or any other ART medication, for that matter) because the primary determinant of egg "quality" lies in the genetic normalcy of the egg. Maternal age is the major factor affecting egg "quality".
