Hi I"m on  third try this one frozen. It is my last try so another patient told me that taking valium for the first three days every few hours helped her to relax. She got pregnant but I would like to know at what dosage and how often I should take them.I am a very hi stressed person and my doctor okayed it but didn't really give me a dosage just told me that it was okay for three days. Thank you for your help!

Valium is a perscription medication. Your doctor will write you a perscription and the dosage will be written on the perscription.

Hi I went to a physciatrist and was told to take 10 mg two to three times a day for three days to help me relaxe. Does this sound right to you? The reason I ask you is because this is more your area so please be as direct as possible please. Thankyou

I'm not a physician, so my answer should not be considered medical advice. Valium is a tranquilizer and muscle relaxant. It will keep you calm and relax the uterine muscles to prevent contractions which may move the embryos around inside the endometrial cavity during the two days between embryo transfer and implantation. The progesterone you are taking does the same thing. If your doctor suggested bed rest following the embryo transfer, the Valium will make it easier to snooze through that period of time.
