Girls how is everyone doing? I know we have alot of you getting so close to meet your lil ones that is awesome. I bet you are just counting the days and they seem to be going slow.
For those concerning induction I would say not to worry you need to be strong and be positive. There are just some women that just don't open for some reason I mean don't dilate even though they have an induction and they need to get a c section.
I had inductions for both of my pregnancies and I love it 
But here is a good tip. When you get induction push everytime you get a contraction pushing will help you dilate faster and bring down the baby. I know some nurses tell you not to push but they don't know it really helps I have done it with both of my pregnancies and hey it works great I have my babies that same day and the nurses get shocked because I dilated very fast. SO take this advice and hope it helps.

Hi girls
Just wanted to tell you that I had my doctor's appt today. My due date is tomorrow so they are having me come in on Sunday for a non stress test. As long as that is normal, I go in Tues pm for the first part of the induction and then return Wed am. I am happy with that time schedule...I would like a few more days to see if my body will pop him out naturally!

Hi Ladies -
My dh and i welcomed little Tyler at 9:44pm yesterday the 27th. he was 7 pounds 14 ounces and 21 inches long. He is beautiful! I was induced in the morning but made little progress throughout the day until about 7pm. However, Tyler couldn't tolerate the contractions and his heart rate was very low at a couple points for 10 minutes at a time and they weren't able to correct it so i ended up with an emergency c-section. I am just so thrilled that he is here and healthy!

Congrats Daniella!!! So exciting! Did you have contractions all day? Was it painful or not too bad? I am starting to feel nervous about being induced...I even tried having sex today to see if that would help things along-at least it was enjoyable if nothing else.

it is the best. isn't it i was induced 11 hrs of labor . our guys are similar in size ;.
Raymond was 7 pds 13 oz and 22 inches long. that is kinda crazy. the day me and dh me is july 13 so that was kinda cool. hope you feel good. if you have any questions. iam 2 weeks in i might have some good advice for you.

I have heard that it is not good having sex this late in pregnancy so I would not recommend it girl.
Don't worry everythig will be alright. I love being induce I had it with my two pregnancies and everything went well thank god.
So they do two parts of induction? I have never heard of that but good luck and don't worry everything will be ok.

Congratualtions girl I am so happy for you finally you meet you lil one that is awesome and everything is worth it.
I am sorry you had a c-section but hey it was for a good cause and you didn't want to risk it so that was good thank god everything went well and the baby is out.

Daniella- Congratulations and welcome to the world baby Tyler....So far it seems that all the babies have been weighing in around the same amounts...If Tyler is anything like my little Gabriel once he figures out how to eat there will be no stopping him....

linzie - how are you feeling? anything happening yet? don't be scared about the induction. you'll do great no matter how you welcome your little man into the world! i actually heard that sex is great at the end of pregnancy and that it helps "ripen" the cervix to prepare it for labor. my dh and i tried to "ripen" as often as possible prior to my induction. but it seems like a lot of docs have different opinions on everything!
julie - how are you doing?
lisa - are you breast feeding?
jenny - how i gabriel doing?

Daniella, congrats on baby Tyler!! How are you feeling since your c-section?? Its funny how fast we feel better when our little ones need us!! I was hurtin' in the hospital but was surprised at how fast my body healed! We had sex to try to induce labor with my first son as well!! I would of tried anything to get him out!! My life is pretty crazy lately!! I am constantly cleaning, cooking, bathing (babies), changing diaper, feeding them, laundry AHHHHH the list goes on!! Who would of thought that after all that housework you have to get up the next morning and do it all over again!! Its all worth it!! Everyone keeps asking me if I'm done, I don't know I think so but honestly whats one more right?? I hate that I have frozen embies cuz thats the only reason I'm considering more! If I had none I would be done!!

Hey yeah I would like to have one more baby but not now maybe in about 2 to 3 years from now I don't like having kids after kids right away I like to enjoy every child so I would like to wait some time before we try for the little girl.
How is everyone else doing. Any news babies??? Hope that everyone is doing good.

Hi girls
Just wanted to tell you that baby Jack arrived today at 1:55 pm!! I took a pill last nite to help thin my cervix which led to contractions around 8:30 am. I only needed a touch of pitocin bc I was 5 cm dilated by morning. I was fully dilated before noon but had to wait on a doctor to start pushing. He popped out with less than an hour of pushing!!! What a wonderful experience. We are hanging out with him at the hospital now! He is 21 inches and weighs 7lbs 8oz. He is perfect!!!!

How is everyone else doing these days?
Gabriel is 3 months now and the dh and I just went out last night with our friends to the Olive Garden to eat...An adult night out without the baby...Gabriel enjoyed being with his grandma and she enjoyed that time with him...I only called 3 times to check on him...I enjoyed being out but missed my little guy terribly....My first dr appt is ony a week away...I have called a few times to see if there were any cancellations for any day earlier then the 10 but no luck....

Congrats to Daniella and Linzie! I also had my little guy - Ben was born on July 1. He was 7lbs 10oz and 21 inches long. He is very healthy and strong!
My labor was hard. My water broke the morning of 6/30 at about 8am. Contractions started around 9:30 and I went to the hospital to meet the midwife at about 4pm. I was 4cm and continued to labor until 11pm when I was fully dilated. I pushed for 2 hours but he didn't budge. The nurses and midwife assured me that I was pushing perfectly but he wouldn't go below 0 station. Then my contractions started to slow down so they wanted to give me pitocin. At that point I opted for the epi (2am) in anticipation that this would really turn up the pain. After another hour of pushing they brought in the OB on call to check me and she thought I was pushing well but she wanted to use the vacuum. After 2 tries with that she stopped and said he was definitely caught behind the pelvic bone and recommended a c-section. So, after 21 hours of labor including more than 4 hours of pushing I had the c-section. I really didn't want that but it was the only way.
It's been a tough recovery after all that but my baby boy is absolutely awesome! He is so sweet and cuddly! I can't believe we all made it here finally!

julie congrats!
i had 14 hours of labor (doesn't compare to your 21 hours!) and also needed a c-section. what's most important is that our little guys made a safe arrival!
how has ben been since you've been home?
so glad to hear that we all have our little ones and everyone is healthy and happy!
