Hi ladies.    We saw twins on the u/s but no heartbeats.  We will do another one tommorrow and then in 10 days.  He said that only 90% of babies show a heartbeat at 6 weeks and we are just now today 6 weeks.  I never know if he is bs me or not so tomorrow we go in again.    They were the right size and you could see the hearts and one did a few funky beats now and then but nothing regular.  I suppose there is always hope but I am sick to my stomach with concern.  Take care care all and happy u/s to all.

Oh Fourtyfour......
I am sending you lots and lots of hugs.  This must be just excruciating for you I am sure.  What a bummer.  I am just going to have faith that everything is going to be fine and those little ones are just part of the 10% that are not showing heartbeats at this stage.  It has got to be ok, and that is that.

In the meantime, know that you have our prayers and support.  How much can one person handle I ask?  When is it going to be enough?  You have been through so much and worked so hard.  Please keep us posted and know that you are in my thoughts tonight.

Fortyfour,

I will be saying extra prayers for you tonight.  I think it is a good sign that the babies are at the right place growth wise.  My friend did not see her son's h/b until he was 7 wks. and had a similar scare as you did.  Please know that we are pulling for you and wish you only good thoughts and lots and lots of prayers.

Take Care and good luck tomorrow,

Meg

44,

Hope all is well with you and the twins.  You've been very supportive of me through this process and I feel helpless to help you other than to say you're in my thoughts and I wish you the best.

Today is going to be a good day.  Keep your hopes up, the babies will appreciate it -  I really think there is something more than comfort to positive thinking.  Good vibes are felt by everyone, even babies in your belly!

I just read the news. God, this is unbelievable. I truly believe everything is just fine but the scare is just cruel. I'm so sorry and I hope the time flies to when you see the heartbeats picking up and all is well. My son's h/b wasn't apparent until 6 wks. 2 days. It is that precise in these early days. Anyway, I am sure you know all this and it doesn't take away the knot in the stomach.

Praying and waiting for news,

Meridith

Ladies,  we have a heartbeat.  The one baby's heart had just started at 80/min and the other not yet but looks good.  We were so relieved we were sobbing after the doctor left.    Lets not do this again.    It started to sink in last night that I may really have twins.  WOW.  We will see how the second one is doing in 2 weeks but my gut feeling is that all is well now.

Thank you all for your prayers I know that is what helped that baby kickstart.

Baby dust to all.

44, I already posted on the other thread but after reading this I see that there are SO many prayers that go around for each woman on here. What an absolutely fantastic site this is!  I pray every day for my miracle too and when I heard your sadness the other day...well, this is such a scary process.  I am so happy for you, I can't even put it in words!!  I have to tell all my family and friends now that things are now fine with you - you had a LOT Of people pulling for you.  I'm crying now....ok, I'll just say again, CONGRATULATIONS!!!  You deserve this!!!    Karen

Fortyfour,

I am so relieved you saw a h/b:)  I was wondering all day yesterday how you made out.  I kept checking the sight to see if you posted.  Please know that I will be saying extra prayers for you and the twins.  Just try to take it one day at a time. I consider each day a milestone that I am p/g, even at this stage.  I know that all is going to be well:)  Now the countdown to the next u/s...  If you are still nervous, perhaps they could do another u/s next wk. at 7 wks. and another at 8 wks?  It can't hurt to ask.  This time around my Dr. did them for me weekly up to 8 wks. b/c of the m/c history and he knew my anxiety level was through the roof.  Please know that you are thought about and being prayed for all of the time.  I wish you nothing but the best   Take Care,

Meg
