had my US this am - they couldn't find one ovary and one had cyct on it - this has never been the situation before...do you think this cycle will be cancelled?
Chrisy, I have what is probably classified as "severe" endometriosis now and this cycle I had two endometrioma cysts on my left ovary and a small ovarian cyst on the right and they went ahead with my cyst. THe left side was basically useless and produced no mature follicles (all under 10mm), but they did get enough from the right. So don't worry too much yet, they will hopefully be able to work with what they have!
Chrisy, I'm sorry your u/s didn't go well. What did they say about it? If its your first u/s, its probably still early and hopefully your next one will go better. I know sometimes they will proceed with cysts present, sometimes they won't - I don't know what the criteria is for cancelling.
37, unexplained infertility (no M or F factors), TTC for 1 yr, 3 failed cycles of Clomid 50 mg + IUI, 2 failed cycles of 5 mg Femara + Gonal-f + IUI, having extreme difficulty coping, esp. with all the blissfully new moms around me
they called and we are going ahead as planned start stims tmr - will go thur for next US and bloodwork - the nurse said not to worry - at least I will try not too
