I know there are so many of us ttc, some of us just miscarried and it seems we are scattered throughout the boards, I was wondering who is starting over in April. I just miscarried in March so after my first cycle which should be the first week of april we can start trying again. I just thought it would be nice to gather everyone and share our stories until we all switch over to the pregnancy board where we belong

I am having my 2nd IUI on Monday, so hopefully I will be pg in April, but I may also be starting again or IVF (not sure which road to take if IUI fails twice).

Good luck to all for pg's in the springtime!

Well lets all hope that April is a good month... We can have new years babies.... free stuff....  Like I have that kind of luck, probably would get beaten out by seconds on the clock. But it would be a nice way to ring in the new year... baby wishes to all

I was just sitting here thinking of when I was younger how I planned my life, you know get married to mr. right and when the time came I would just get pregnant,  I use to want 4, but I can't seem to pop out one! I am in my own little pitty party right now a little depressed! I should be thankful even though I had two miscarriages that I can get pregnant, and I know so many of you are doing IUI, IVF taking meds to ovulate etc... no matter , we all want the same thing! I never really wanted something so much, thinking is it ever going to happen, is it meant to be. Sometimes I get sick of hearing that statement from other people, when I know they mean well! I think I have PMS right now LOL!  well i could go on but Ill stop now and say baby dust to all of us!!

Good morning oneandonlymel, I'm sure we all had those dreams when we were younger and planning our lives. But life only dishes out what we can handle, you are stronger than you think, and no matter the out come of our long journies we will find some kind of peace at the end of the road. I may not have anymore children ( not from lack of trying), but by helping out other kids I can experience some of the joys of mommyhood ( it's not what I would have planned but it helps ease the dissapointment).

And one day out of the blue you may find yourself one of the lucky ones that comes on line to announce that they have a bfp , hey anything is possible.

lynne, thanks! I actually had a period of my life when I was a mommy. I was previously married to a man who had custody of his little girl, she was 14 months when we met! that was back in 1992, we married in 94 and even though I never wanted her to call me mom, she started around 3 1/2yrs old, the thing is she had a mother but at the time wanted to go off and be single and she did see her on her weekends unless she had plans, I wouldn't say she was a bad mother but she just wasn't there at the most important part of her daughters life to have a bond! I was there when she was sick, I put her in ballet classes, I was room mom, all the things a mother does, her father and I divorced in 1997 ( the grass was always greener on the other side for him) but leaving her was the hardest thing I had to do, I still got her 3 times a week and she took it hard! long story short she is 13 and still calls me mom!! saddly she lives out of state now, but we talk on the phone and write all the time, I have even went and visited her! so in my heart I am a mom. Boy I just have the emotions pouring out today!!

Oneandonlymel, that was probably the best thing you could have done for that little girl, for a while she had a "normal" family and always remember a mommy is the one who is there to tuck them in at night, to kiss their booboo's better, to praise their accomplishments and give them heck when they need it. I know from experience that a mommy is not made by biology but by experience. I hope we all have that chance atleast once in our lives, it may not be with a child from our womb, but that child will become one from your heart.

Great now you've got me tearing up again, what a hormonal week this has been...

Good luck ladies,    April showers brings January flowers?

I hope the best for all of you.  We havent decided when to try again.    The donor issue is the main topic now.    My doc thought that my donor was a good one and I said what?  One m/c and then no pg?    Thats good?    I am afraid to try her again.  He said if it was a m/c I was worried about I should get someone younger.

Maybe when I am not hormonal the answer will come to me.    I have not had my period yet and wonder if i will.  Perimenopause is so wacky.

Take care all.

Hi Fortyfour,
Good idea to let your mind clear before making an important decision like that.  I admire your patience and determination to withstand this whole process.  When you have this baby, he/she is going to be the luckiest kid on earth to have a mom that wanted them sooo much.

Good luck with this whole donor search.  I believe with your intuition, the answer will come to you and you will know it is the right one.

Hi all
Well, dh and I are going to meet with our RE to set us up for another IVF with ICSI on April 14. Not sure if that counts as April buddy though as I don't know all that we will have to do before we can start a cycle.
Good luck to all who are waiting for AF (in order to start trying again) or hoping for follicles or best of all, a BFP!
