I recently had 2 miscarriages, one after the other. My doctor did a bunch of blood tests and found protein c and anti thrombine to be out of range. He ordered more blood work at a lab that specializes in fertility testing. Needless to say, I am very anxious to receive the results. To compound the situation I am 39 years old. Has anyone in my situation had a sucessful pregnancy? How was it treated? Thanks for any feedback.
I have protein C deficiency as well as Leiden Factor V and Protein S deficiency. I was just prescribed Lovenox and have been taking since last Friday (almost a week). I am trying tof ind out more ifo, too. Please let me know if you have found anything out since posting this in Feb.
Melissa valez, how's your pregnancy going with Lovenox? I was also just diagnosed with protein C deficiency and I just started Lovenox about 3 days ago. My hematologist told me to continue on Lovenox until I deliver the baby. But I would love to not be on Lovenox if I don't have to.
