hello new member here....had m/c in may 06 at 5 1/2 wks another aug 06 at 9wks,,,,now prego again and 5 wks,, dr. wants me to take prometrium but i don't know because of all the things i have read and i took protestrogen with the last one...anyone have any thoughts on this?
lili246,,, first thing i don't know what all the letters stand for so what is "af" doctor says so since high risk pregnancy...but i have only did a urine test at clinic and nothing else..this one feels different then the last two so i am praying for the best. thanks 4 your reply
I took prometrium with this pregancy for the first 10 weeks. It should be because they tested your progesterone & it was considered low. I was also concerned but I did take it because I was afraid I would have another miscariage. I was so glad to get past the 10 weeks when I could stop taking it. It was gross!!! It also made some of those first trimester symptons worst. But the food news is I am now 30 weeks
i have clotting issues and have had 4mc's. my doc has put me on prometrium 200mg 2x daily, lovenox injections, folgard, and clomid. have u ever been tested for aps, or thrombophilia?? alaine.
