Ok..back again for the millionth time.  I am not going to worry..what will be will be.  I started doing the lupron shots about 4 days ago.  Did blood and ultra sound this morning.  They want me and my husband to take the antibotics tonite.  Continue lupron then start on saturday with the gonal injections.  I can't believe how easy it has become to give injections.  I never thought I would get used to it.  We have been through IVF's, IUI's and now we are going to do ISCI...I thought I was going to give up on doing it, but something inside wants me to go on.  I feel I can't quit,  I have to try....  Has anyone else done a ISCI?

Hello Wannabemom:
YUP,  can confirm that ICSI totally  works.

We did it 3 times. 2 pregnancies and none.  However, I lost the 2 pregnancies at weeks 8 due to chromonsonally abnormalities (AGE factor).

ICSI was NOT responsible for pregancy loss in any way, shape or form. WithOUT ICSI, we would have never even gotten pregnant in the first place.  His morphology is poor, but ICSI solves that small challenge.
ALL the best baby dust wishes, Jane

I'm with Jane:  yes, go with ICSI.  That's all we've ever done, and gotten pregnant 2 out of 3 times (my eggs are old, so nothing to do with ICSI harming anything).  [Currently awaiting the results of our third time.]

Plus there are as many studies that show it doesn't do any harm as they are that show it does... so doctors all feel comfortable that it's still a good, harmless practice.  My husband's sperm, turns out, only wanted to sit on the couch and watch TV.  No motility!  ICSI is like spackle:  solves a lot of problems with one swoop!
