hello everyone im naya and i have been trying to conceive for about 6 months and nothing i have a 12 year old child and my coworker told me about geritol that she took it and about a month later she became pregnant with her son. So needless to say i purchased me some and im now on day 2 i'll keep everyone posted!

My wife and I are both medical professionals and neither one of us have ever heard of the 'geritol' method until last year after thanskgiving dinner. My uncle swears by it, and recommended it for us since we are both older and trying to get pregnant. My wife co-workers, drs. and nurses have seriousley been pushing geritol lately, so yesterday we decided to give it a try. Usually my wife have trouble with taking medicine orally, its a switch now, I can't stomach the taste of the liquid do you think the pills will matter? Just starting will keep you posted.

Hi. I tried Geritol for 1 cycle. I ended up pregnant. Unfortunately I had a miscarriage. So I am now taking it again and hope it works. Good luck to you xray!!!! I havent heard about the pill. I know what you mean about the taste. But it will be worth it!

I am a newbie. My husband & I have been trying to conceive for a few years now with no luck; first I had to have an ovary removed because of a tumor, then he had a low count, then after that, I found out that I wasn't ovulating. My OBGYN put me on Clomid to regulate my cycle... that it has done. I can pretty much pin point the exact day that my cycle will start. She wanted to put me on a harmone shot to help conceive, but husband and I want to try to conceive more naturally (besides, I already have multiples in my family- don't want to get pregnant with a litter!! haha)
With that being said, we try to "time" our intercourse often; so many days before & so many days after my cycle. Still no luck, so I purchased the Geritol Tonic (liquid form) a few days ago. I've taken it for about 3 days and my cycle started. Would the Geritol Tonic have anything to do with my harsh cramps the other day? It does have a unpleasant taste going down, but after the tonic has been swallowed, there isn't much after-taste. I'm going to keep taking it for a while & see what happens. I take the Tablespoon serving once a day, usually after breakfast. Will keep updates for when we get pregnant.
p.s.-I have also seen the Geritol in pill form - would the pill form be as effective as the liquid form?
(for anyone that needs to know; I found my Geritol Tonic at Walmart in the vitamin section; it's in a red & white box for about $3.00) Also, which is better; Geritol or Robitussin???

hello everyone Im new here have been trying for about 2 years to get pregnant but nothing my grandmother told me to take geritol she says "there is a baby in every bottle" so my sister and I started taking it in Oct or Nov then we stoped she just found out about 3 days ago that she was pregnant but she says that when she stoped taking the gerigol tonic she started taking prenatal vitiams so she thinks that maybe that worked so needless to say I went out and bougt me a 12 ounce bottle of the "baby juice" and I am praying that it works for me

 OH MY!! I have been ttc for over 6 years for my second child. I skimmed thru your geritol comments and IT HIT ME!! OMG! my mother was told she couldnt have children when she was a teenager! her doctor put her on geritol and she had her first child a year after she got married! I am child #4!
sorry to cut this short, but im off to the store to buy some geritol!

WOW!!! This sounds like a miracle drug. I think I might just look into buying me a bottle. Im taking Ovulex right now I dont no if that will interfere with Geritol. Maybe this weekend I'll start on it. Let me know if anyone took Ovulex with Geritol.

I have been on Geritol for 2 weeks now. The tast is so bad, but I have been able to keep it down with Grape juice. Even though is the taste is bad, I am going to take it. After so many years of tryin I don't care what I have to do to get pregnant. My husband and I have been tryin to get pregnant for 6 years now. I just hope this works..
My aunt had been tryin for 15 years to get pregnant. She had tried everything. She took Geritol and she found out she was pregnant and 2 weeks later she had my cousin Zack. He was supposly a tumor in her uterus.. They where go to do a total hestorecomy on her the next week. No Doctor thought she could get pregnant. She kept telling them she felt something moving and they said it was a fast growing tumor. She got pregnant again after 5 years. After taking the Geritol again and now has a health 2 year old. My aunt swares by it...After us tryin she told me to take it and see if it will work for me..

we have tried so many things to help us get pg. it took us 2 years to concieve the first time. the only thing different then as compared to now is my weight. i weighed 105lbs and am 5'2'' tall. i was pretty skinny. about the time i reached that weight i got pg. and i have read something somewhere about even the smallest weight gain can make a difference. so, i am on a strict diet, where the geritol will only help there as well. i got some a couple days ago and my cravings are gone, so it helped ballance that out.
so anyway i am trying to get back to my origonal weight, only 20 more lbs to go. and i have begun taking the geritol (its changed thru the years, it tasts much better than it used to), and as soon as i start my cycle this month i will be useing evening primrose oil until ovulation time. ill give this regimen a good years try, then ima just give up as i am 42 yrs old now.

ok, so i started taking geritol tonic a week before my last period. also i was taking evening primrose oil at the same time until ovulation, it was supposed to make a uhhh, more "comfortable environment" for the wee wigglers. omg i thought i would drown my poor hubby! haha! even if the epo doesnt work for sperm environment, the improvements it made in general were well worth the three time daily swallowing of a gigantic horse sized pill! I am still taking the geritol tonic every day, as i said in an earlier post, my mother took the stuff from the time she was 17 up intil well after menopause. she was not supposed to be able to have children, and ended up having 4, and took the geritol thru each pregnancy. she had very healthy pregnancys.
so, due to work and other inturruptions hubby and i havent met up for a "date" but twice during ovulation. I dont have much hopes for the geritol to work because of our hit and miss schedules this month, i'll let you all know in a couple of weeks what the results are. i will continue taking geritol faithfully, (maybe im weird, but after a while, the taste kinda grows on ya, sorta like, burnt orange, much much better tasting than it was 20 years ago!) and at the start of my next period i will resume taking the evening primrose oil until ovulation. Ive tried alot of things, and it seems to me, the best things come from the simple things. after 6 years trying, we'll see. good luck to you all!

It sounds like we’re in the same boat. I was out of town the three days I should have been bding with my DH. So, now I have to wait until next month to see if my prayers and geritol will work for me.
Are you supposed to start taking geritol the first day of your period until you ovulate; once you ovulate are you suppose to stop?

yes geritol does work i have taken it for only one month and now i am expecting, its very very potent

Hello! Me and my husband have been trying to conceive for 8 months!!! I started my first dose of geritol today and I am so excited about the possibilities!!! Please keep us in your prayers and we will do the same... I will keep you guys posted... Oh and a cup of Coke soda after the geritol shot (smile) helps the taste...

Hello Ladies!!!
Oh my gosh!!! Oh my gosh!!! I have to calm myself down. I can’t even type at this moment. God has answered my prayers. THANK YOU GOD!!! THANK YOU GOD!!! I JUST CAN’T STOP THINKING HIM ENOUGH. THANK YOU GOD!!!! I finally got a BFP. I can’t believe it. I keep looking at the pregnancy test to make sure that I do see two lines….YEP there’s two line. I’m shock! I tested on Monday, and it was negative, so I can’t believe it’s +. I guess the af cramps I was having all last week weren’t af cramps. My bbs are a little sore today, but not that bad. That’s all the signs that I am having, but I usually have these signs right before af shows up, that’s why I’m shock that I’m pregnant. I just knew that my af was about to show her ugly face. I just want to thank GOD again, again, and again. Also, I want to thank all of you ladies for all of your support and prayers. THANK YOU!!!
It’s getting late and I have to go to work tomorrow, so I will talk to you guys tomorrow.
