frozen sperm - adverse to fetus ?

I am considering IVF.  I'm 39 my husband is 40. I got pregnant naturally in June but miscarried after 6 weeks, in late July.  My husband is over seas so in July I returned to the US with his frozen sperm and the frozen sperm is at the Andrology lab at a Fertility Clinic.  I had no idea I was pregnant at the time.  My question is: Does frozen sperm tend to pose a higher risk to the fetus health than fresh sperm?  Is there a higher chance of birth defects from frozen sperm than fresh sperm?
I would greatly appreciate your thoughts.

The use of frozen-thawed sperm does not increase the chance of birth defects and poses no increased risk to fetal health. No worries.
