I just had surgery on May 24th.  I was 9 to 11 wks along with my 2nd pregnancy after 23 yrs.  I was shocked to be pregnant again and then the wall hit.  Any way I have not posted in a long time and was wondering if any one can tell me if the first menstrual cycle is painful.  I am currently on my 1st cycle after the surgery and it is hell, I have never been in this much pain with my periods just the normal cramping....

I had to have my rt tube and ovary removed so hopefully i will try again in a couple of months.

Thank you

My first AF postectopic was so painful I thought I had another ectopic, even though I knew it wasn't possible.  It hurt so bad I couldn't sit down.  This went on for quite a few cycles but I learned to take the strongest pain reliever I could the day AF began - before the pain hit.  That really helped!  I'm sorry for your loss, I truly am.

Thank you for your reply.
You said that you had a few AF cycles that were painful....OUCH.  I am still spotting every day now and it is almost time for my next cycle.  I should have my next cycle in about a wk 1/2.  I hope this one is better..

Thank you for your kind words.

After my ectopic I bleed for 23 three days straight. I passed lots of clots and the cramps like to have killed me.
