Hi Dr. J,

Thanks for all of your help on my previous post. Ok I am 12w4d preggo( according to my due date) got pregnant ivf of a 6 day blast on 3rd attempt( I'm 27) have had a u/s every week from my ivf clinic and now I am at an ob. I had a nuchal scan yesterday and ultrasound tech said I measured 12w2d. Is this ok to be behind 1 day? She said its better to be ahead than behind. Can it mean I wil have a small baby? Will he she catch up? Y of all my 6 u/s of measuring on time that yesterday I was behind. The only logical explanation to me is all my u/s were done in late evening and my nuchal scan was done 8am.

Thanks mbre

The measurement is plus or minus a few days.  At 12+ weeks, I do not know what the expected variance is.  It would certainly be more tha only 1 day.  I would not be concerned about a 1 day variance.
Congratulations!
