I have never heard of anything linking green tea and Ovulex. What have you heard?
I know green tea is soposed to help with cm. I know it has a lot of health advantages due to the antioxidents. I personally do drink green tea, usually a cup or 2 a day. I have a cm problem and thought I would give it a try. I am not sure if it worked or not, but I did have a lot of cm and it was good quality this month, unlike other months. I don't know if this was due to the green tea consumption or just a lucky cycle. I am also on injections for ovulation induction so I am not sure if it has something to do with that.
What kind of green tea are you drinking? Ok that sounded crazy you are drinking the kind that is green tea ha ha ha. I meant what brand? It has been a long night sorry ladies AF is giving me a run for my money the whole nine yards so not feeling so good today.
Can you keep me posted about the green tea? Best wishes and good health
I drink any kind of decaf green tea I can find. I also do drink a cup of reg. green tea iced tea a couple of times a week. I just go to the tea isle at the grocery store and pick a new one each time til. They are all pretty much the same. I drink it hot in the am, add alittle honey and splenda to sweeten it a bit.
I had been taking a green tea capsule for the past year until about 2 months ago. I am not sure if it has a history of helping with conception like Geritol tonic does.
I am taking Ovluex right now, and I have read your comment about the green tea! Should I take green tea as well so it can help me with the CM, because usually I could hardly tell, what to record on my chart because it looks the same all the time?
I began drinking green tea for its benefits of improving cm. I personally had an issue with cm and thought I would try it. This cycle I had a post colital test and my cm was supurb. Now if this has anything to do with the green tea I don't know. For me it was something to experiment with that I could take with the injections I was doing. I did get a bfp yesterday, but again I have no idea if the green tea played any part.
If you have cm problems I would recommend it. From what you say you describe the way I was with the cm. Its worth a shot. Just don't forget to drink decaf!
Liz, Congrats, so you are Pregnant? I am so happy for you. And thank for the advise I will give it a try even though I don't like tea, but I want to have a better idea of my cm because every cycle I get confuse on what to record.
What kind of tea, are you taking? So I can go and buy it ASAP, well after AF is gone or should I start taking it now?
After 4 hpt's I had my blood drawn yesterday. It came back with a 98 hcg at 11 dpo. I go again tomorrow morning for more bw to make sure the hcg is doubling.
I don't really have a particular brand, I try them all. Just go to the coffee/tea isle at the grocrey store and you can have your pick. The test is not all the great so I sweeten it with Spenda and some honey.
I started drinking it last month (I think it was before af cam but after o). I still drink it because it is sopossed to have other health benefits. I have also heard that Robitussin is good for cm. I tried that as well, but didn't get a postive that month, however I did notice that I had more cm then usual.
Are you currently seeing an re? On any meds or trying on your own? If you are seeing an re and have a concern I would suggest you ask them to preform a post colital test. It is really a piece of cake. What you do is have sex (for me it was about 2 hours before appt.). You go in and they take samples of the mucus, look at it under a microscope and call see the sperm swimming and tell the quality of your mucus. It is a wonderful test and not so invasive. You get instant results.
Hope this helps. If you have any other questions, fire away, I would be more then happy to answer.
Thank You very much for all that information, it really helps alot. And I have never heard of that colital test. But it does sounds like a piece of cake, is that expensive?? The reason I say it is because I do not have a primary doctor, when I get sick I just go to any doctor. Having insurance is just too expensive!
