Has anyone else had this show up? I'm not sure what it means for us and our fertility problems.  Please let me know - Thank you!

Unexplained Infertility - TTC 2 yrs
3 IUI w Clomid/4 IUI w inject.
First IVF cycle late June 2006
BFP 7/9/06!!! Due date 3/18/07

Julie,

My DH had this problem and had an infection in his prostate.  I think it was called prostatitus.  He took a few courses of antibiotics and it did decrease the amount of white blood cells.  He also had very low morphology and other issues w/ his sperm, so we still ended up having to do IVF. 

It has been a while since we had to deal w/ this problem.  DH saw a urologist for the problem, but I posted a lot of questions to Dr. Smith about his problems.  I would see a urologist to rule out any infections. 

I am sorry that I would not be of more help.  Do not give up hope

DH and I are 36. Married 9 yrs.  p/g  4/01 m/c @ 9 wks.  DH dx w/ severe mf - told best chance of conception was IVF.  1st IVF 5/02, m/c @ 7 wks. FET 5/03 conceived triplets and lost triplet at 11 wks. gestation.  Had B/G twins @ 32wks.  ++ p/g 5/5/05 conceived nat. much to our surprise

My DH had this problem and was also diagnosed with prostatitis. An extended course of antibiotics reduced the WBC's in a couple of months, but motility did not improve and we had to do IVF.
