Waiting for results

Had my 1st IUI on Oct. 7th.  Going to do blood work on Oct. 17th to see if its positive or not.  I am so nervous..what if its a negative.?  We have been trying for so long, I'm scared of being disappointed.  I don't want to feel that way anymore.  If someone had asked me how I felt about it last week, I would have said, Yes it worked.  I felt bloated, tired and I felt like I had to pee every 15 minutes.  Could that just have been all in my head?  This week I feel normal.  I can't sleep and I feel like I could eat until eternity.  I can't figure out where I'm at......I have a brother who has 4 girls, and 2 sisters who both have 2 children each (both by choice)..why am I so abnormal?!?

Wanna be a mom -

Let me start by saying you are not abnormal.  We may all be a little crazy but not abnormal.  lol  The ttc roller coaster can get the best of all of us.

I don't know to much about side effects of the IUI, I have never had to have one so I can't help you in that department, but I did want to offer my support and encouragement.  I know how hard the wait can be, we look for every possibility of a positive sign sometimes yes I think we make them up, atleast I think I did.

I begin to feel out of wack about 8 dpo, that is when I felt like I got run over by a mack truck.  I was sooooooooooo tired, very strange.  I tested at 10dpo and got a bfp.  I was pregnant with twins so my levels were very high.  I sadly went  on to lose on of the twins, but I have a healthy little peanut growing away inside me now.  I had side effects of sore bbs but I don't know if that was preg or progesterone supp.  It is so hard to tell some of these.  The best thing anyone can do is try to relax, rest and take one day at a time.  I know how hard it is when you just want to reach your goal but patience really is a must in this situation.

I wish you the best of luck.  I will be sending your lots of postive thoughts.
