Ange- Congratulations!!!!  I am so happy to hear that your numbers are going up.  I was worried when I didn't hear from you, but I understand moving is hectic and with the good news, posting was probably the last thing on your mind. Take it easy and don't do too much.  I bet you are excited to go for your u/s!  Keep me posted on how you are feeling.

As far as me, yes it is so close.  Dh and I went for all the blood work , now we just have to sign the consents and set the estimated dates.  I don't really have any side effects from the birth control (it's been a week), but I still worry about being on them.  I am at risk for developing clots and the bcp increases the risk.  I asked my RE about blood thinners, but he felt that the risk of using a blood thinner was greater than the risk from the bcp since I have never actually had a clot.  He originally wanted to stay away from the bcp and told me I didn't have to take it but it was easier to control my cycle that way.  If I didn't take it I had to monitor for ovulation and I have missed it with those stupid opk's , so I would have had to be monitored with u/s and blood work.  I would rather save all that for the actual IVF , since the bcp is only short term and the stims also put me at risk I figured this was the best way.  Anyway, I got to get back to work.

Hope all is well with everyone else!
Jade-If you check in, how are you doing?

lyly~ so sorry it has been awhile again life is up and down these days.  I started spotting last wednesday so i had to go in because I am O- and if you have any bleeding when you are pregnant and O- you need to have a rhgram shot.  So they did a u/s at that time and found a heartbeat phew!

I clotted with the bcp I also bled for most of the time I was on it.  But it was only 23 day of my life I was fine and was able to continue.  I am so praying for you keep me posted on when you are starting your cycle.  I know this will work for you.

take care
btw my house is finally coming together

Ange- I am so happy to hear they found the heartbeat with that whole ordeal.  I know how stressful it can be having gone through a miscarriage before.  I keep you in my prayers.  It has been a long journey for you and I wish you a healthy and successful pregnancy.  As far as me I started spotting after a week and a half on the bcp and haven't stopped since.  I start my lupron on fri 11/16 and take my last bcp on 11/19.  Yeah!!!  The big box of meds is a bit overwhelming.  I don't mind the shots, but there are so many different meds.  Anyway the RE highly recommended the ICSI for us, so it looks like we are going to be paying out of pocket for that part.  Guess I shouldn't complain since I know there are people like you who have to pay for the whole thing.  But it is going to be a strain.  DH wasn't too thrilled but I guess we will get through.  I am so excited but nervous about the whole process.

Hope all is well with you.  Stay healthy and take care of you and the little one.

I am a little upset today.  I just got off the phone with the clinic where we are doing the ivf.  The woman told me the icsi is over $2700!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Dh was complaining when he thought is was $1500-$2000.  Don't know what he is going to say now.  After paying almost $1000 for all his blood work this is going to be difficult.

lyly~ when dh and started this process I knew it would cost us 15,000 but dh didn't it thought maybe 8,000 so when he found our he was stressed I tried to make him understand that a life is priceless and we spend lost of money over our life on items that we through away or give away and a life we won't do that.  I made hime understand and he wasn't as stressed anymore. sorry you have to pay more than you thought.  but once you find out your pregnant it won't matter anymore it will be worth it.  keep me posted

Hi Ange-  Thanks so much for all your support.  I know in the end it will all be worth it, but timing stinks.  The ICSI being so expensive, taxes on the house are due, my dd's birthday party, and holiday gifts all really add up to more than we have to spend.  I don't know how you did it.  15,000 is soooo much money!  We are struggling just to get by.  Dh quit his job to take care of my mother.  So we are working off one salary!  One good thing the clinic called me back at the end of the day and said not to send the check for the amount of the ICSI!!!  She said she is going to put it through the insurance and try to see if they will pay.  She doesn't see why it wouldn't be covered.  But she has no idea what I went through just to get the rest approved.  I highly doubt they will pay but at least that gives us more time to get the money together.

So enough about me, how are you feeling?  Any morning sickness?  Have you heard from Jade or Amyjoy?  You are all in my thoughts and I wish nothing but happiness for you all!!!!!!!!!
