Well we found out this morning that we are having twins! I am 6weeks and 6 days pregnant, so we got to see the heart beat but I don't think their machines were hooked up for sound. It is so exciting to see their little heart beat. I have more one more ultrasound with the reproductive endocrinologist next week and then go to my OB/GYN. They didn't do any blood tests at this visit today, which I found strange, but everything seems to be okay so far. And we got the ultrasound picture of "twin A" but the printer was having problems in order to print a picture of "twin B", but the doc says we'll have more better pictures next week. I am so excited and dH gets nervous thinking about that there will be 4 of us!
Congratulations!!!! What a blessing! You first see the heartbeat and then it takes several weeks until you are able to hear the heart beat. So , there was nothing wrong with their manchine! But just seeing the heartbeat(heartbeats in your case!) is so exciting.
Take good care of yourself, you are carrying a very precious load!! I'm pg withonly one but you really feel the fatigue settling in in the first 3 months. No need to fight, you just have to take it easy and rest whenever you feel it's necessary. After all, your body has been through so much, you really need to pamper it.
41. DH 38. TTC 2 years. 2 failed IUIs, 1 IVF resulting in a m/c. 2nd IVF. BFP 02 03 06!!!! Due date 10-13-06. Julia arrived on Oct. 23 2006. 10 days late but healthy and beautiful! A miracle. PG again, and this time all natural! Due date 07/11/08

CONGRATULATIONS RISA!!! I really thought you might be!! That is just SO exciting!! Plus now your kids will automatically have a sibling - that's just wonderful news! I'm so happy for you!! I hope you're still feeling okay - get lots of rest for the little ones!!! YAY!!!
Thank you all, it is so exciting and I am trying not to worry too much. I'm a teacher and school starts in 2 weeks and I know I will be even more fatigued than I already am. Thanks, Fiso for letting me know why we couldn't hear the heartbeats and only see them. I have my next ultrasound this thursday and am praying that they are both okay. I have double worrying now.
