Dear all, I want to believe that their is hope and success after a year of trying to conceive through the use of reproductive technologies. Dear Shelly, Thank you for your note. IVF was easy when we happened to get pregnant on our first try. Unfortunately, I miscarried after 5 months from a weak cervix. I was 44 and it was a miracle to conceive with my own eggs. After the miscarriage, we tried two more IVFs and was unsuccessful. Now, we are using a donor and don't know if she is a good choice. She is being tested-but there are no guarantees that we can end up bringing home a baby. I hope and pray that everything works out! iamhopeful
