I have had bacterial vaginosis for almost a year now!  Have seen my GYN...several times....have and am continuing to take antibiotics....BV seems to lessen during and after my period....GYN says it's okay to try to conceive...is this true?

Many women do become pregnant while they bacterial vaginosis.  There have been some data published implying that there may be an increased risk of premature rupture of membranes causing amniotic fluid leak and necessitating delivery.  If you keep having recurrance, it may be necessary to treat your partner, too.
Good luck.

Should I still be able to conceive with BV?  What sort of treatment would be given to my husband?  Thanks!
