Hi Tiffany,
Yes, I have been seeing a RE and have been through their battery of tests. All have been ok. I think they tested for the NK cells but I'm not 100% sure. I took Clomid for 2 cycles and I think that is what really helped my cycle and hormones start to get in sync. I wasn't producing mature follicles any more and I didn't make much progesterone at all and I had a very short luteal phase. They also gave me HCG shots.
I had a positive beta on 10/25 of 89 then on 10/29 it was 710 and on 11/1 it was 2,840. I had another test this morning and am waiting to hear. They did my first fetal u/s and all looks good with the sac too. So far so good.
I'm sure you will have a very positive experience soon! Just hang in there.

Congratulations Lindsay! What great news - and after the issues you had with your beta numbers everything looks like it's going great.
I hope you had a wonderful birthday!

Did the doctors ever give you a reason or even a guess as to what was happening? I have never gotten a clear explanation, maybe because there just isn't one.

Hi Julie
Thanks for the congrats!  Sounds like you are doing well so far, but I completely understand how you feel.  I had a miscarriage last year and am scared to death now.  They told me my mc was possibly due to a short luteal phase/low progesterone, but they "accidentally"  lost my sample after the D and E and could not test it for chromosomal abnormalities.  Did you see a heartbeat with any of the pregnancies?  They told me today that there is only a 6% chance of miscarriage once you see the heartbeat (I thought it was higher than that).  I hope all works out for you-Lindsay

Lindsay -
CONGRATS!!!!!!!  I am so happy to hear your good news after this difficult month you've had!  By the way, how is your mom doing?

Lisa - Are you going on vacation?

Jenny - did you tell your mom the babies name yet?

I had a little more spotting this morning...UGH!  I called the nurse who says we should wait and see what happens over the next couple days.  She spoke with the doc who doesn't seem concerned.  I'm just totally neurotic after our experience last week and loosing one of the babies.  Hopefully everything will be fine!  We don't have our next u/s until next Monday the 12th!  I am staying positive since we saw a good heartbeat at the las u/s.

Yes grandma knows his name is going to be Gabriel William and she is very happy with that name and loves it very much...In fact so does the whole family...Can I just tell you all how much fun going and doing a baby registry is?!?!?!?...OMG, we had so much fun and daddy has so many John Deere toys on his registry and Aunt Emme has so many elephant toys on his registry...Wwe went and registered at Babies R Us yesterday and had the time of our lives...They give you a free gift for registering and let you use that fun scanner for everything...Anyway I am glad to hear that all 3 of the latest miracles are all doing well and we see the heartbeats and see that they are okay...You all are so funny that the heartbeats are so similar...Anyway I was told that once you not only see but hear the heartbeat by the 9th week the m/c rate goes down to about 2%...So how is everyone feeling these days?...Talk to you all later.

Unfortunitly i have had testing on the babies after m/c and nothing was ever wrong chromosone wise except for one.  I had saw the heartbeat on two of them then m/c also, so i dont go by the percentages.  I have had m/c's anywhere from 6weeks to 14 weeks, with no explanation.  My progestrone is low however not low enough to normally m/c.  I now just know i will never get a reason and i am fine with that.

Got my blood results from yesterday and hcg more than doubled again and my prog. is now at 53!

But, they also told me that my thyroid numbers are off and I have to add another drug to my day - Levothyroxine. Anyone else on it or know anything about what thyroid levels should be during pregnancy? I am confused between hypo and hyper thyroid etc.

I have never heard a heartbeat for any of my pregnancies. The doctor told me to come back in next Monday for my 6 week u/s but the nurse told me that I might want to wait until mid or late week to be sure that they can get a heartbeat. I think she doesn't want me to be too disappointed if they can't hear it if it's a day or so early. But waiting longer is going to drive me nuts!! What would you all do? Go in when the doc said or wait until later in the week?
