Sorry i dont know anytingabout the estridol number but my preogestrone level stayed at 35 and they said that was fine.  I stayed on it until week 14.  When does your RE usually release his patients back to their OB.  Also of the ladies here say theres released them at like 8 weeks i was not released until i was off the progestrone.

Hi Julie
My estradiol has stayed around 1000-I don't know that there is any signficance unless it starts decreasing dramatically.  Ask Sam, he can tell you.  My progesterone was 102 so they told me to stop it and recheck blood in one week.  Thank goodness-I am ready to be done!!!

Did anyone else have spotting when they stopped their progesterone?  My obgyn mentioned this but not the RE...

Wow Linzie - I am so happy for you that you can stop the progesterone. I can't wait! Although he told me it would be a very gradual decline off of it.

My estradiol had been going up steadily and then dropped by more than 200. It's still above 1000 and the nurse didn't say anything about it so I guess I won't worry about it for now. I'll ask next week.

B - did they keep checking you progesterone level after you went off the supplements? I'm not sure what my clinic's standard is for releasing pregnant patients. I think it's around 12 weeks, but I just switched insurance companies and I'm not sure if it will cover both an OB and the RE at the same time.

Right now I'm having them every 2 weeks. I ask about the placenta every time but it's still too early to see it. I don't know if my ob will continue frequent u/s or just put on the "normal" schedule.

Julie my ob kept up with the u/s until about 16 weeks in her office.  The i was sent for a level 2 at 18 weeks and 22 weeks and i had a cardio echo gram on the baby at 24 weeks due to heart issues in my family.

i was off the supplements at 9 weeks.  why do some docs keep their patients on for so long and others don't?  I was also released from the fertility to the OB at that time.

12 weeks tomorrow!

daniella: I have had a m/c at 14weeks so i am kept on it for that long i guess but I have always been kept on it that long.  I talked to my patint cordinator from the fertility dr office yesterday and she said they keep all patients  until 14weeks, then they are released.

hi ladies!
linzie congrats to you too on hitting 12 weeks!  I had my 1st trimester screening (bun test) on saturday.  we could see the little one squirming all over the place.  it was awesome to see all his/her little features.  i hate the wait in between ultrasounds.

jenny - any new news from the doc?  how are you feeling?

how is everyone else doing?

Hi all -
I went for my genetic counseling appointment today and while I was there they said they could probably get me in right then for the 1st trimester screening (which was scheduled for Friday). So, I got an unexpected u/s which was great! I saw the baby move all around and put its little hand on its forehead and stretch. It was just awesome. I can't believe that something so small can do all of those things.

I also got the good news that the fertility clinic is allowing me to eliminate one of my daily progesterone suppositories. Thank goodness - it's a start!

I hope all is well with everyone.
