Spotting

Hi Doctor-
I am 6 weeks pregnant.  I did IVF and got a bit overstimulated.  I am having some brown spotting on and off.  When it happens I notice a large lump in my lower left abdomen, which is tender to the touch.  Is it possible that my ovary is still large and messing up my hormone level causing the spotting?
Thank you!

If you hyperstimulated and are 6 weeks pregnant, yes, you have big ovaries.  That is probably unrelated to your spotting.  The spotting may be nothing, or could be a warning of a problem.  You will know more after your ultrasound.
Good luck.

Thank you doctor.  It turns out when one of my TWINS implanted it hit a blood vessel and there is a small pocket of blood that is gradually shedding out.
My ovaries are huge, you were right.
Thank you for your imput.
