Should I have let Blasts develop longer?

I have just completed a donor cycle which produced 16 fertilised eggs.  At Day 5 the embryologist selected what he thought to be the best two early blasts graded 1AA and were at stage 2AA by the morning transfer?  I have read here that maybe we should have pushed for stage 3 or 4 of development for a better result?

How long do the blasts take to go from Stage 2-3-4-5?

Tomorrow he will let me know how many will reach the more developed blast stage for freezing- they are thinking at least 4.  By all accounts, the 26 y donor produced very good quality eggs.
