Hi Ladies, Does anyone seeks a second opinion after failed DE FET? If so, what was the outcome? I never expected myself to be in this situation that I may have to get a different egg donor with a new doctor for a better protoccol.  It makes it nervous to think about it because everything is costly! Ever since I had DE FET which resulted in BNF, everything went down the hill due to hormone imbalance, and my body was not responding to RX in order to suppress my ovulation prior to next DE FET. Now they suggested that I should get a surrogate. I was shocked and upset... Will a new RE be able to pinpoint the problem? I'm afraid to get a new egg donor because what if nothing works for me.

Your thought or feedback is greatly appreciated.

Dear Smod,
Yes we went for a second opinion.  Howerver, I had lost trust in any one "new".  So I went to Dr. Jane & Dr. Smith (Who used to host a question sight).  It is a lot of money.  We just needed to trust someone and try one last try.  They had some new tests, some new ideas to treat, and some donor selection considerations. We are currently waiting for a donor.

Hi Smod,
We changed doctors after trying to do IVF with my own eggs.  My new doc found some things that my old doc let fall through the cracks.

We have decided to travel to Denver to do our DE cycle.  They have a great reputation and we have been given and 80 to 85% chance for success.  They are the top clinic in the country I believe.  I don't want to mess around anymore!  I know women who have tried DE here in the Chicago area without success and have went to CCRM and had pregnancies with the first cycle.

We are currently waiting for our donor!
