Well, I had my day 10 u/s tonight in my 3rd IUI cycle and there is nothing growing, not even 1.  I am really glad that I have the RE apptmt tomorrow, b/c I am feeling down about all of this.  I really hope he can help.
I will post tomorrow after the apptmt.

I was also looking for a post from Kendall in GA who was supposed to test on the 12th, I believe.  Anyone heard from her?

Well, I posted on another board, so I will make this brief.  Went to the RE today and cancelled this 3rd IUI cycle.  We are going to begin IVF cycle in the end of May after I take b/c for 1 cycle and then go on Lupron.

Patience, patience, patience, that is what I need.  I cried a lot today, mostly feeling like I am letting dh down, but I know that is silly.  He is real supportive.  We are both going to do whatever it takes.

Good luck to everyone trying this month!!

Sue,  I am so sorry about the cancelled cycle.  That is always my biggest fear.    I can relate to no eggs though.    Put me on meds to stimulate eggs and I get only cycsts.    I hope they find a protocol to work for you.    You have no control on this so you are not letting anyone down.  If any of us had  any control of this it would be done "perfectly".  Take care, cry, yell and get up and do it again.    Keep in touch.

Sue, I'm so sorry about the cancelled cycle. It is so upsetting. I just want to tell you that the protocol you are going to do is an excellent one. Lupron to supress then stims to kick those ovaries into high gear. It really works.I have a feeling this will work for you. sending hugs your way....cassandra

Thanks for the support!

I hear the protocol is a good one,  I am interested to see if I will produce 10 eggs   I have been having trouble producing 1, but on a lot less meds !!!

The RE seems to know a lot more than my OB did, so we'll see how it goes.

Take care,
Sue

Hi Sue
I saw your reply to me on my thread but I wanted to say I understand about the delays.

One thing my RE told me which I am glad he did even though it wasn't what I wanted to hear: He said, "If you made only 5 eggs on your 1st cycle, we can't expect you to make 20 this cycle. With some tweaking of your meds, we can hope for maybe 7....or 8.....MAYBE 9.

I like realistic expectations. I am so sorry your cycle was cancelled but maybe this is what is going to launch you into a success!

Hang in there!!!  I know what you mean about waiting.  I am having an endometrial biopsy done this cycle, so am taking estrogen, then progesterone (suppositories and shots)...  all of that just so they can check the endometrial lining.  i'm sure it's all worth it and perhaps i'm giving my body a break after the m/c, but it just feels like so long!!!!
hang in there, though...  good things will be coming your way!!

Sue,
I know how you feel.  I had a cancelled IVF in February after taking 2 months of the meds.  I only had one mature follicle after all that stimulation. I was on very high doses of Follistim.  I was heartbroken and cried for a week straight.  These meds just make these damn mood swings so much worse.  I am sorry you have to go through all this.......it's enough to make you crazy.  Hang in there though,  They can do amazing things I have heard when they tweak your protocol.  You will feel better soon and be ready to try again.  Keep us posted girl.
