Progesterone Pills to Bring on AF

My dr has me on progesterone pills, since I missed my period.  The rx says take 1 pill for 10 days.  I had to do this once before, a long time ago, and I think I remember something about only having to take them until the period comes.  Is that right?  Or should I continue taking it for the full 10 days, even after I get my period.  I haven't gotten it yet.  Today is day 3.  Thanks.

Good question my friend,  I have no idea.  I would think you take the pills until you get the period but I dont know.    Let us know what you find out.

Tigger hi I saw your question and taking clomid is a lot different than doing ivf. With clomid they are keeping your progesterone going like a normal cycle so you get a complete period. I would definitley do what the doctor say. I am no expert but I did do a few clomid cycles. Hope this helps?
