i will be starting 9th week on Monday! i got to see the heartbeat and hear it now twice once last tuesday and once on sunday. it was the best thing i have ever heard in my life eventhough the circumstances were terrifying especially on Sunday in the ER.  next appt is 2 weeks from today and at that time will most likely have U/S sched as well though doc says if she can hear the heartbeat through my stomach at that point may not need an U/S... we'll see, still having some pain in my left side (they think its some cysts I have developed from the clomid).

21 weeks seems like so far away! that is so great. you must be so happy. will you know the sex?

that heartbeat is the most wonderful sound in the world!  Especially since we have worked so hard to get to this point!  My hubby and I did IVF...luckily, it worked on our first try.

are you working with an RE?  if you don't have an u/s how will your doc know when the bleed is gone?  my doc was careful to monitor mine very close.

21 weeks probably seems like ages away, but you will reach it faster than you know!

We found out the sex last saturday...IT"S A BOY!  we can hardly believe it!

what is an RE? there is so much i still have to learn about this whole process! just seeing my OB who I like but am annoyed she did not tell me about the second baby until i really pressed her on it and AFTER i went through the whole ordeal of miscarraige of the second baby without knowing what on earth was going on. i am moving in about 4 months back to where I used to live and my OB there is better.
that is a good point about the bleeding. She seems to think it is not anything to worry about since it didn't show up on the u/s 5 days prior to the m/c and also the bleed measured very small and since that day i haven't had any spotting. but maybe i should ask to have one just to be sure. sometimes i am afraid that the u/s will do harm to the baby. do you know anything about that?

an RE is a reproductive endocrinologist (reproductive specialist).  my doc wanted to monitor me with u/s but that is because i continued to have bleeding and my bleed with pretty big.  but...they didn't want to do more than 1 a week cause they said that the internal u/s (transvagial) could cause some irritation.  they wanted to watch my bleed cause it was very close to the sac of the other baby and they were worried that if it got bigger it could cause a lot of problems.  if your is small i wouldn't think it would be a problem.

i have been feeling my little man kick a lot.  mostly after i eat!

what is your due date?
