Hi ladies - Just wanted to let you all know that I got a BFP on the 26th of July. Yeah. We transferred 3 embies from my donor. My u/s is on the 10th.
Do any of you get really hot and have insomnia at night.? I wake up every night about 1:00 and am thirsty, hungry, sweaty and have to pee like a racehorse. I stay up for an hour until I finally cool down enough to get back to bed.
I am constantly hungry all day but no morning sickness yet (yeah!) The later that comes the better since my first pg was awful. My breasts are sore and I pee all day. Take care everyone and keep on growing.

CONGRATULATIONS!! I am so happy for you. My sister inlaw who just found out she is pregnant, is also having insomnia. She's waking 4 or so times and not just to go to the bathroom. I am soo happy for you. much love Jen
Congratulations Again !!!! I am so very happy for you. Perhaps you will be p/g w/ twins or more.... I too had insomnia and night sweats w/ all of my p/g's (m/c ones as well) I still am getting insomnia and getting hot through out the night. At first I got freaked out about the night sweats, but I guess it was normal and the not sleeping I think is due to worry and always having to go to the bathroom. I too go the same time every single night. I take benedryl every once in a while so I can get a full nights sleep. The Dr. said it was okay to take while p/g. I hope the morning sickness stays away

I had insomnia my whole first pregnancy and am having it again. Am now 18 weeks. I go off to sleep ok but have trouble staying asleep. I am fortunate to be able to catch a few hours during the day. My daughter is now 5 and is at kindergarten alot....

Hi fortyfour! Sounds like the usual symptoms to me. I also had to pee a lot. I don't remember night sweats but i was a sound sleeper! I only developed a mild case of nausea but it went away after I ate. I am so happy for you fortyfour. I am hoping your first trimester goes by uneventful. i am also glad you left your last job because of stress. How is the new one? If I remember correctly you only had to go in 2 or 3 days a week right? I have been on vacation since July 17 and I go back this Thurs. Although I was tired from working long shifts I actually can't wait to go back. It keeps me in shape and helps to pass the time. Keep on growing.
Meg, I am so glad to hear you are doing well. I just passed the 20 week mark and had my U/S. They will now give me one every month. Are you going to find out the sex? I haven't felt any kicking yet. I saw him kick on the monitor but didn't feel it. She was sleeping on her belly. They pretty much look like skeletons now. My next OB is tomorrow. I remember how skeptical you were of your pregnancy. I am so glad you are doing well. After my last U/S I am relaxing more. I also have stopped checking for blood EVERYTIME. I still do but not as much. Infertility and M/C are hard to get over. I am so thankful these babies are holding on.
Well, I'm really showing now. In all my maternity clothes. Since I started going to Ob appts. I have gained 10 lbs. But I think in the 3 mo. prior I gained 20! I am feeling wonderful. I did have some pain last month but the nurse said it was probably constipation. My sister said one baby was probably behind my rib. She had the same pain. I am carrying high. Anyways, it was nice to see the site back up and am glad to hear of your good news girls. Take care....cassandra
44 - again, CONGRATULATIONS!! I too wish you the best and a smooth ride going forward. I am I think 2 days after you - due 4/6/05 and had my transfer on 7/17. Also 3 embryos. I am up at least every hour. I have severe back pain which I think is from my Arthritis on top of the nightly injections near my lower back. I haven't been hot but definitely up at least hourly and peeing at least once or twice during the night. Starving too! Just hoping that it means all is well. I go for b/w tomorrow and am SO anxious to hear that things are progressing normally. It's such a scary time and so difficult to get through. All the while trying to just enjoy the happiness of the pregnancy! Karen

Congratulations 44!!! I got a positive beta on the 23rd of July too! I have to wait until Aug.15th for u/s. Every little cramp or twinge scares the daylights out of me. I'm taking prometirum suppositories and just finished estrace pills (so I've been worrying about whether or not my body will produce enough estrogen) I want everything to work out so badly that I've been more scared than excited. How's everyone else?
I want to thank everyone for their input. I feel better about it now. Today was my first day with nausea and feeling really tired.
I had a low bs attack at the hairdressers while under the hair dryer. One moment I felt fine and then whammo sweaty, shaky, weak and dizzy. They ran to get me juice and a half bottle later I felt better. I was embarresed to say the least. I usually carry a munchie with me but today I had been in a rush. That will teach me. I headed to costco to get protein bars afterwards.
Congrats hopefully. I freak out if I think i am cramping at all. Thats how my m/c started. Some light cramping and then the bleeding. I am getting very anxious about my 6 week u/s. Dear Lord. Help me through this.

I have to have one more hcg level done on Wednesday to make sure everything is ok. I hope we can go through the next 9 months together! I have been extremely tired. I don't have alot of symptoms, just tired and sensitive boobs! I have followed your posts every since I came to this site and I can't express again how excited I am for you, knowing how much you wanted this and the journey you have been on trying to get pregnant!!!

I dont have alot of symptoms either - just tired with sore boobs also. This morning I felt a little queezy and when I ate it went away. I suppose 5 weeks is a little early for too much morning sickness. Oh, yeah I have a headache today. I have not been doing coffee for 2 days and thought maybe that was it so I had a cup. A little better but not much.

44 I was up at 2:30 am thinking of you last night. I woke up in a pool of sweat. I was so hot and just couldn't get back to sleep. I think I know why I haven't been too hot most nights - I set my central air at 70 degrees every night and put both the ceiling fans in my bedroom on. So it's pretty cool in there. Still, I sleep with just a sheet and light blanket. Well last night, I was so hot, I couldn't even stand having the sheet on me! But I thought of you and thought "ok, this is normal."

A special big hug goes out to 44!! I was really wondering about you when we were off.
My triplets are doing great. I have my next ultrasound on August 11th, and we should be able to determine sexes. We had our last ultrasound in my 16th week, and the babies looked amazing. Our baby "B" is a complete spaz and moved, kicked and rolled the entire time.
Baby B and Shaz - how are you doing.
I am down south in Texas this week for a surprise party for my mom and a baby shower. I am completely overwhelmed by how generous people have been. Our babies are set!

Karen123.- I finally have been putting my air down to 73 at night and wake up only half as sweaty but I am still so hot I think I could fry an egg on my chest. Wow. I told my hubby I am glad I am due before the summer starts.
Does anyone have really itchy breasts? lotion helps but sometimes its unbereable(sp?). I look at them and they are bright red!!!!!!!
I am glad everyones pg's are doing great and its exciting to hear about all the u/s giving the sex. I definetly want to know so I can start decorating.
