Pregnancy after failed IUI

Hello Everyone,

I am new to the forum. I am so glad that I am able to join in. I really need the support. I am 34 years old and I have been married for two years and also ttc for the two years. I have a history of PCOS. I also have a twin sister who has the same problem. She had 3 successful clomid IUI pregancies. Anyways, I got pregant once coming off the bc and once with a clomid cycle (one follicle meas 24mm) and both ended with miscarriages before 10 weeks. I tried an injectible cycle with Menopur and it was unsuccessful. After being frustrated, I switched to another RE who started me on Follistim. The grew many follies and was overstimulated. It was hard to walk even. I had my IUI done 36 hrs after an hcg trigger. I waited 12 days and on the 10th day AF arrived. I thought for sure I was PG. I had classic symptoms. I realize now that they were caused by Progesterone cream that I was given.
My FDLMP was  4/12/07 and it was real heavy it lasted for 7 days which is unusual for me because I don't get periods. We decided to wait until July to try again. (for financial reasons). This is a non medicated month. I am only on Metformin 1000mg daily. However, I am having symptoms of ovulation. This is very rare. I wonder if any one out there has had a non- medicated successful pregnancy after a failed IUI?. Could it be possible for me to get pregnant on my own without the help of doctors or meds. I just want to know if my chances are higher because I was on hormes last month. Please reply if you can help me?
