I had a normal cycle beginning on August 22nd that lasted between 5 to 7 days.  I began to spot on Sept 12th.  By September 15th I was bleeding heavily and cramping.  I stopped bleeding on the 25th.  I went to the doctor on the 24th and they confirmed a pregnancy.  They went by my last normal cycle of August 22nd and calculated me at about 4 1/2 weeks.  My HCG levels were at 68 on the 25th.  Today, the 27th, the went up to 74.  The doctor says that is still very low.  They cannot do an ultrasound because my levels are so low, they will not be able to do anything.  I am still cramping, but I feel flutters in my belly.  I feel sickly and I do not have an appetite.  I am not sure what to think.  They are saying that I have probably miscarried or something has been miscalculated.  I have HCG levels of someone that is only one week pregnant.  I am sure what to think.  Please anyone give me some advice. :'(

Is there any way it could have been twins??  I have heard alot  of women who had twins and lost one early and the hcg levels didn't double correctly, and maybe the reason for the bleeding.  I hope everything is ok!  I know its agonizing not knowing whats going on inside you!  I dealt with alot of bleeding in the beginning of my pregnancy but always had high hcg levels.  Good luck girl!!

I am not sure what it could be.  I am so confused.  With my first two pregnancies, I did not experience any bleeding and I have no idea what my HCG levels were.  I just need some closure at this point.  I feel as though they are giving me the run-around.

When are hthye going to give you another level.  I personally would go to the hospital they will do a u/s.  If you are 4 1/2 weeks you should have a yok and sak as they call it.  I would go find the answer dont wait for the dr.  For one if its a partial m/c that needs to be addressed also.  keep us updated

I went to the doctor on Thursday morning and was there all day long.  They did an ultrasound and found nothing.  My levels went from 68 to 74 in 48 hours.  They did a pelvic exam and my cervix was closed.  Saturday morning, I woke up to uncontrollable bleeding.  I called the doctor and when into her office immediately.  I had a blood clot the size of a tennis ball.  I felt so sick.  My HCG levels went down to 60.  I am going back on Monday to have my levels checked.  They are definitely diagnosing this as a miscarriage.  Today I have mild cramping and I am still bleeding and passing small clots.

Is this normal?  I started spotting on the 12th of this month.  I just want all of this to be over with.
