Last week I found out I was pregnant, I started bleeding and I went to the doctor this was on may 2nd, my doctor told me he's pretty sure I misscarried and took some blood, my blood count was 191 and he told me to come back in a few days so I went back and my blood dropped to 123 so that pretty much confirmed that I misscarried, I bled for about 10 days. So today I had a extra hpt and it still shows that i'm pregnant even though my blood count shows I misscarried, is this normal?? Also last night I had sex for the first time in about 3 weeks and we did use a spermacide condom there is no way i'm pregnat is there?? can you get pregnant that fast after a miscarriage...sorry if I sound so stupid
Hey - A pg test will show positive until the HcG level's return to < approx 25. It took me 9 weeks for my levels to come down to zero as I was 14 weeks when it happened. Try another test in a few das or if not you can always request another blood test to make sure the levels come down
Well I've had two tests the first was 191 and the second was 123, I guess a blood test won't lie, it just freaked me out when I took another pregnancy test and it showed positive and I guess I paniced after having sex for the first time in a few weeks even though we used a condom and I know there is no way it would show I was pregnant in less than 24hrs after having sex.
