Hi Leslie,
Thanks for the information and support. I hope everything goes well for you at the dr's. I am becoming really concerned now because it is getting heavier ever since I stopped taking the ovulex 2 days ago. My dh said maybe to try and start it again because i was only spotting those couple of other days. I called the ovulex # that Sammy gave me and the man didn't seem to understand my concern and asked me for my e-mail address to send me some info. I will let you know if I get some information that will help. GL at the docs, I will be waiting to here your reply.

Hey Ladies- just wanted to say that although it has only been 2 days since my last post, listing all of my side effects...most of them have already dissipated.  I think my body just needed some time to adjust.

I am still experiencing some nausea, but not nearly like before. However, the Ovulex is still keeping me up at night.  I think I will try taking it another hour earlier tonight!

I am almost done with my second bottle of ovulex.  My first month on it made me bleed alittle after an examination they said that everything was fine.  I am not so stressed out anymore.  And feel that it is changing my body and my mood.  All that nausea passed relativly early.  I have a six month supply after that I am going to try something else.  I saw an email. It said if you want to get your money back, if you feel that it does not work, you have to return the empty bottles too,not only the ones you haven't taken.  So don't throw the bottles out after you are done.  Ovulex is the natural way to go but with all these side effects though not harmful can make you feel like a crazy person.

Hey Meg,
It may be a reaction to one of the ingredients.  I was having severe burning in my throat with the first bottle of Ovulex and found out it was the Canyene Fruit (from the Cayene Pepper plant).  Canyene Fruit can also increase your metabolism and blood circulation (like high blood pressure) so it could be that.  You may want to call the 800 number and ask.

Hello, I'm new to this board and have been reading it for the past 2 weeks.  I heard about Ovulex one day when I was just surfing the net about natural treatments for infertility and came across this product on their website.  I got pretty darn excited hearing all the positive testimonials about the product.  I felt a bit skeptical too though but since reading the experiences of others on this BB, I felt ready to give it a try.  I only ordered one bottle just to try it.  It arrived last week and then I took one pill last saturday morning.  By the afternoon I had an excruciating migraine and then I started to throw up all afternoon and into the evening.  By the next day I was exhausted from the ordeal and was too scared to continue with it.  Well I decided to consult a naturopath at a Herb pharmacy today as I wasn't entirely ready to give it up.  I wrote down all the ingredients that were listed on the bottle and showed them to the naturopath and I explained to him also that I am on hypertension medication as well.  I was concerned that there might have been some sort of reaction with my meds.  He felt that this 500 mg blend was not too much to be concerned about.  The Ginger root and ginseng are not so good for hypertension, but since the blend is 500 mg he advised me to take only one pill a day and see how that goes instead of 2 a day.  The bottle does say to either take 2 or as directed by your health practitioner.  I asked him about the St John's Wort as I read that it is a natural anti-depressent and the valerian root is one of the most common herbs used for insomnia.  There is a reason why these last two ingredients are in the blend.  He feels that all these ingredients serve a particular purpose and it appeared to him that the ingredients balance each other out and there should not be any cause for alarm.  Perhaps if you are experiencing some side effects, try only taking 1 pill a day.  So, I restarted taking it tonight.  I think I will stick to taking it only at night for now.

Anyway, good luck to us all.....baby dust baby dust....

Hey everyone,

For those or you experiencing side effects, I thought I would let you know that I kept taking the Ovulex and mine all went away.  I mostly just had spotting, but it has stopped so far in the second month, and I had a pretty normal period, just a little bit lighter than usual.

Hey girls- just thought I would check in on this board for those who are contemplating starting Ovulex and looking for side effect info...

I have been on Ovulex for two weeks and most of the original side effects that presented are gone.  Only, if I take the second pill after 9 or 10pm then I can't sleep at night and I am really nauseated.  However, per someone's advice on this board I started taking it at about 8:00 and the side effects are gone!

This morning, I woke up to a little bit of unexplained bleeding, but I am siting it to the fact that my AF is so irregular and screwed up that my body is still adjusting...anyway, hope that all the hopefuls are doing well!

Hi all!! Hope everyone is well today!!

From what I've read about Ovulex (and Fertility Blend and Fertilaid), it will only work if you have a hormonal imbalance to start off with.  For those with estrogen dominance, PCOS, high prolactin levels, low LH levels, endometriosis, etc., it can work for these issues.  If you have always had perfectly normal periods, I would check with a dr. before using it, just because there may be another problem, like a blockage or something.  If that's the case, you would want to get that checked out asap.  I have an estrogen dominance problem, that is, I have too much estrogen and not enough progesterone floating through my body to create regular cycles, and the Ovulex is supposed to increase the progesterone levels naturally through time.

I have been taking Ovulex for about a week and a half.  The only thing I've noticed is twingy pains.  I've noticed also increased CM which is a positive sign.  As far as I can tell by my signs, I'm finally getting on track as far as my cycle goes.  I know it might be a couple more months before it completely works, but I really like what I see so far.  I think though that I am going to take Fertility Blend after this bottle is gone, because the one herb that is the most important in the aspect of cycle regulation is the vitex, and Fertility Blend has it.  It's cheaper which is a plus.  We'll see..maybe I'll get that BFP before then!!

Baby dust to all, and good luck!!! I'm praying for all of you!!

Hello again,
Well since my last post it has been 3 days now since I restarted taking Ovulex.  I'm only taking 1 pill a day and it is in the evening about an hour before I go to bed. I haven't had any headaches or nausea like I experienced last saturday (the very first pill).  I'm slowly working my way up to 2 pills a day.  I have been drinking green tea in the evenings as well.  I think I'll take 2 pills after 7 days of taking 1 pill straight just so my body has had a chance to adjust to it.  It seems to be doing that.  I also noticed that I've been spotty too.  I was diagnosed with having endometriosis about 5-6 years ago but they are not in a place which will inhibit me getting pregnant as I did get pg last May but ended up miscarrying in the 11th week.  I'm hoping that Ovulex will help me with this problem.  By the way, I am 46 and have had a child when I was 20 and she is now 26 years old from a previous marriage.  I have remarried and been married for 7 years.  We've been seriously trying for the past 3 years.  Anyway, just need to give this a chance and see.
Cheers all!

Hello everyone! Hope everyone is doing well tonight.  I found a website which is a drug interactions website.  If you are at all concerned about any medication that you're currently on and are wary of the side effects from Ovulex, have a look and check it out for yourself.  Just look for the ingredients in Ovulex and plug into the right column and the medication that you are on.  The results should show any interactions that may be experienced.  You can also tick the box to include food and alcohol too.

Penny,
I've been reading these boards all night looking for Ovulex success stories. I havent responded but yours struck me because of the smoking!! I started Ovulex yesterday and also stopped smoking yesterday!! It has been just over 24 hours since my last cig and it is soooo hard but if I do get pregnant it will be so worth it. I hope you can quit, I just wanted to let you know, you are not the only one stuggling to quit smoking while TTC. I hope I can stick to it!!! I can I can I can!!!lol..
Best wishes to you and everyone else!!!! I will keep posted on here for any side effects or success (hopefully)!
