Hello ladies. I am new on here, and have been reading all of your posts for two days. Your encouragement led to me purchase Ovulex and Amberoz. My husband doesnt want to take the Amberoz, but I will ease him into it. hah. I had a laporotomy, and had an ovary removed. I still have one remaining. Been TTC ever since. over a year now. Hope this stuff works. I have heard mixed things about this pill, so any ANY advice, or warnings will be appreciated. I got an email saying I should eat a certain way with these pills, do you ladies eat a certain way? And if you dont you think anything bad will happen? Let me know. Prayers to all, and BABY DUST TO ALL TOO!

Jade~ Yes today is just to get me prepared for the surgery and meet the Dr who is doing it.  He wants to look over my chart and he will tell me what to expect.  After I have the sugery I think I will ttc on my own the first month but then I will go for IVF.  Sorry to hear about AF.  What is Femara?  What will it do? Is it like ovulex?

Renee~ I am excited about the sugery but scared.  I think I will feel better after I talk to the dr today.  I just hope I will be knocked out.  I am still getting over a cold it better be over by then.  AF is right around the corner I think monday.  SO cd6 will come fast.

Lili~  Wow you are getting close.  I am going to lose one more cycle for my operation but that is fine the next month after I will be as good as new.

I am off to see the dr I will keep you all posted when I get back.

Welcome Newbies!

imarried, welcome, I have not heard that you should eat any way, but if you are ttc you should eat as heatly as possiable. good luck.

Ange, let me know what you find out today. I was also scared, but just think how good things are going to be after the surgrey.

Jess, make sure you take your temps before you get out of bed or do any thing. Taking your temps will tell you alot about your fertility. Your temps look really good.

Vidia, If this is your first month charting, it may take a couple months to firgure it out. Keep your head up until af comes.

Jade, I'm still taking geritol, it's so gross, well if it helps it will be worth it. Did you ask your Dr. about taking it? My temps this first half of my cycle look good, they look more back to normal they are lower. Today was 97.6, before it would be 97.9, 98.0, or so. Have faith that this pills will work.

Butterfly, looks like you O for sure on the Friady the 5th, Thats a huge jump. Thats a good sign on your chart. This could be your month.

Lili, whats you temps today, you are getting so close.

Girls I was reading the bible last night and I wanted to share this with you, it really touched my heart.
Mark11:22 HAVE FAITH IN GOD. I TELL YOU THE TRUTH YOU CAN SAY TO THIS MOUNTIAN , MAY YOU BE LIFTED UP AND THROWN INTO THE SEA, AND IT WILL HAPPEN. BUT YOU MUST REALLY BELIEVE IT WILL HAPPEN AND HAVE NO DOUBT IN YOUR HEART. I TELL YOU, YOU CAN PRAY FOR ANYTHING, AND IF YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU'VE RECEIVED IT, IT WILL BE YOURS.

So we need to believe that we will conviece and dont doubt it. Have faith!
Renee

Well Ladies I am back from the doctors and I am not so happy. My surgery is postponed...... I saw the doctor that is doing the surgery and because they are concerned I might have a bicornate uterus I have to have an MRI first.  That means about 6 months for an MRI I am so upset the waiting list for this is sooooo long.  So I am back at work trying to figure out what I am going to do for 6 months.

I need some good news!

Ange, I'm so sorry, that stinks to have to wait for 6 more months. What is a biocornate uterus? Can you go any where else to do the mri? God has this all planed out for you, just think if every thing went as planned you might waste money on the ivf, because it might not have been God's perfect timing. Did you ask the dr. if you could still have a chance of getting preg on your own in those 6 months? I'm sorry, I know thats a let down. Big hugs.

Renee~ Thanks for the hugs I needed them I am at my desk trying to work but it is hard right now.  A bicornate is when the top of your uterus has a dip it basically looks like a heart.  If the doctor removes the septum and I have a biocornate I will end up with a hole on my uterus.  I do have a septum and I have a 90% chance of chemical pregnancy each cycle.  My dh is very supportive and keeps saying we are one more step there.  I just can't believe at least 6 months.  There is a place where you can get mri done outside the hospital but they cost 600.00 approx.  Sometimes I think Gods plan was for me NOT to have my own biological children....Thanks again Renee

Ange,
I am so sorry about your bad news. I sure know how you feel about waiting that long. Hang in there girl time goes by so fast and once you notice it will be time to try  again.
All I have heard as well is bad news since my m/c and I think it's about time that I take some good news. I really hope and pray that my next good news is being pregnant. I am waiting for af to come which will be sometime next week I hope and then I am ready again.
Have faith Ange, hopefully all that waiting is for a good cause.

Renee,
My temps. today were 98.6 they are still high and I am getting close and close each day I have so much faith that you can't believe it.

Love always Lili

Renee- The temps I have taken have been while in bed still. I keep the thermometer right on my head board for when I wake up. So, should dh and I keep trying while the temps are up? I'm going to check my O again tonight to see if I'm still surging.

Thanks for the quote from the Bible. I'm sure it will help everyone here....

imarried-I've been taking Ovulex for 12days now and I had some side effects from it in the beginning. About my forth day into it, I got cramping and diarrhea and nausea. I still have a little cramping here and there but for the most part it's gone. The diarrhea and nausea is gone too.  I started to take my second pill at 6pm instead of taking it an hour before bedtime as directed. That helped a lot. I hope this helps you when you start your pills. Take care!!

Baby dust to all!!!

I worry about stuff like that. Do you know if its safe to take 800 mg IBprofin? I take that during my menstral cycle...For the horrible Cramping I get. I have very regular periods. They come on the 2nd of each month. Just with having only one ovary, I think I am having dificulties concieving. Any info, again, will help. Thanks to you all, and ~*~*~*~*BABY DUST*~*~*~*

Hey everyone!  Sorry it's been awhile, I've been super busy at work.  How is everybody doing?

Ange~ I'm sorry to hear about the news from your doctor.  I know the waiting is very hard, but at least they are figuring out what they can do to help you.  And, once you get that procedure done in 6 months you will be that much closer to conceiving.  We will be here to wait it out with you.

Renee~ Thanks for sharing that verse.  I have found a lot of encouragement from my faith and the Bible.

Lili~ Your temps sound good, where are you at in your cycle?

imarried~ I took Ovulex in the past and eventually quit because of the side effects.  They weren't unbearable, just irritating.  I had a lot of skin break outs and spotting while I was on it.  I also had a lot of headaches, but I'm not sure if that was from the Ovulex or not getting enough water.  Some people have gotten pregnant while on Ovulex, although I wasn't one of them.  If you are worried about the safety of taking it, I would take the bottle to your dr. and see what he/she says.  Good luck!

Love and baby dust,

Leslie
