Hi Ladies,

I know it has been awhile. But I have not forgotten any of you. It has been very busy in our family. Since my last time I am now an Aunt to a beautiful little girl. My Sister in-law is doing much better. I have two new baby boy cousins and after 2 1/2 years of TTC, I am finally going to be a mommy. DH and I took Ovulex for a while and then we switched to Fertility Med (Menopur  then Bravelle) after 2 Offical IUI cycles we are pregnant. We go next Thursday for an Ultrasound to hear the heartbeat and found out exactly how many there are. We believe there ar e2 but we won't know until then. So we are extremely happy and know that beleiving in God and not giving up is what has gotten us through. And thanks to all my sisters in the Sisterhood that have been there for me.

I pray that all of you will be mother's real soon.

Lots of Faith, Hope & Love,
Lablane

Congratulations Lablane!!

What are Menopur and Bravelle?  Why did you stop the ovulex?  Just curious.

All the best

I too am new here. My husband and I have been TTC for 6 months now. I've been taking Ovulex for 3 1/2 weeks now. AF is supposed to arrive today, but nothing yet. It' weird, I don't have any of the normal signs that AF is coming. I've read that Ovulex can make you 7-8 days late, so not sure if that's it or not? Either way, I also just ordered my second bottle of Ouvlex just in case, since I only have enough until next Monday. I am also taking prenatal vitamins that were prescribed by my doctor. After 5 months of no success I went to see her to make sure that everything was OK on my end, and luckily she said that everything seems fine. Now my husband is worried that it's him. If I'm still not PG this month, we're going to buy one of those home fertility kits for him to find out. It's just very hard with so many other people around us getting PG. My sister is 8 months (wasn't even trying and was on BCP), my SIL and a friend of ours are 4 months (both due on my birthday). Although it did take my SIL 1 year to get PG, I'm hoping the males on his side just take a while. Everytime we get together with family, the same ? comes up "so when are you two going to have a baby". If they only knew it's not as easy as they think!

Thank you Jackie,

Menopur and Bravelle are fertility shots that force your body to make more than one follicle a month. It is a stronger shot version of Clomid. They are made from Menopausal women so it is a more natural than most. I stopped taking Ovulex b/c I was starting IUI's and I had to take meds.

Welcome to all the newbe's!!!!!!

Snoopy...Green Tea of any kind, just green tea!  I drink Lipton's Green Tea To Go.  Its pretty good.

Lablane...Congrats!!!!

Steph...ovulex delayed my cycle by about 3 days.  I hear thats normal, but it gave me false hope:(  hated that part!!  I'm with you, there are PG women all around me...everyone...I mean EVERYONE I know is PG!!  I am very happy for them all, but I have this paid/ache inside me and its KILLING me that DH and I have been TTC for ever now!!!!!

Nothing new here, just taking Ovulex as indicated.  I have noticed some more CM than I am used to, so thats good.  But, one thing I have noticed is for the last 3 days I have had some light cramping.  Not O pain, like in the ovaries, but little cramps in the uterus.  Have you all gotten that since on ovulex???  I have never gotten that before.

I started back on ovulex after my m/c in february.  Had a few short cycles of 25 days.  This month it was 32 days...who knows?  I don't feel any different.  I do know what you mean about everyone around you being pregnant.  It does seem that way.

Mahogany Heart - I got your email about the Sisterhood reunion and replied that yes, I am interested.  I am not sure if you received it or not?  I will wait to look for your new thread,

Hi!

Today is my first day on Ovulex and I hope the start of my count-down to pregnancy!  Someone close to me gave Ovulex and Amberoz a recommendation money can’t buy – she is finally pregnant!

My husband and I took our first doses of Ovulex and Amberoz last night.  No side effects for him – my only side effect so far has been a little bit of an upset stomach but nothing major.  We have been married almost 2 years and have been trying to get pregnant for 1 ½ years.  I am 33 and he is 34 and neither of us have any children yet – so the issue could be with either of us.

Thank you guys for sharing your stories!  I read through them and it is nice to know I’m not alone!

Hi, I'm new here My hubby and I are 8mo ttc. I was wondering about Geritol, My cousin took it the month she got pregnant w/ her son. to those who take it, do you also take prenatal vitamins? my doctor told me to take OTC Prenatals so I have been but with geritol also being a vitamin I'm not sure I should take them together. I thought about maybe taking geritol and a folic acid supp. w/o my prenatal vitamins. Please tell me your thoughts, I would love to hear from those who take geritol, or who have taken it, about how and when you took it. Thanks so much -bonnie

Hello Everyone!!

Congratulations LaBlane!!!!

BonnieRae; I was taking Geritol Tonic when I conceived 3 months ago. For the first 2 weeks of my cycle, my husband & I took Geritol once a day. I also took my over the counter pre-natal vitamins as well without stopping; so for us it was pretty safe, and it definitely worked.
I hope that this information helps.....
