Well, I got my order of Ovulex today and will start taking it tonight.  I am excited and I hope that this will help me Ov.  My problem is too much estrogen too Sammy.  I'm hoping that ovulex will regulate my hormones enough so I can ov.  BTW, you can buy vitex at GNC.  They have a bottle of 100 caps for 9.99.
Good luck to everyone!

Monica & Soon2bemom thanks for the book info. I will definitely pick it up over the weekend!

AF still not here...23 days. I DID have some brownish discharge today though! If history holds true that means that I would usually get AF the day after, so hopefully. I've never been so happy to possibly be getting AF, but at least that would end the wait and DH and I can continue our journey.

I will keep you all posted! Thanks for all of your support and prayers! Baby Dust to ALL!

Soon2bemommy,
WOW, you are right the Geritol Tonic is disgusting...like orange juice and vomit mixed.  I bought some last night at CVS $2.99.  Figured it's worth a try but I'll take the Ovulex with it.  Can't hurt!

When I brought it home DH wanted to know if it was for him or me.  He's 48 and thinks he's too old for a baby...but I know he's just scared of having a little girl that will wrap around his heart.  He's like a kid magnet and every little girl in church wants to marry him.  When we got married we had to have three flower girls because they were all upset that I was getting to walk down the isle with him.  LOL  One of them has even decided to change her name because her first name doesn't sound right with our last name.  She told me that by the time I die she'll be old enough to marry him so she's planning ahead.  Anyway....sorry I got off track.

The geritol was disgusting, no wonder only old people take it...they must not have any taste buds.

Thanks for the advice and I too am a Christian so will look forward to reading the book.  I'll share it with the Infertility Support Group we have a church.  I think it will be helpful for the ladies in the group.  Sammy

Juelferret1,
Glad to know I have a buddy with the same problem.  I actually ovulate but I have low progesterone (actually non-existent) so it causes estrogen dominance.

Have you tried progesterone cream.  It made my progesterone increase and is natural unlike Clomid.  Unfortunately it wasn't high enough to sustain a pregnancy.  You need to be above 15 to stay pregnant until the placenta takes over but the estrogen dominance makes my level drop.  Last month it was at 14.5.

With all the pregnancy symptoms last month I'm wondering if I had a chemical miscarriage because of the low progesterone level.  Maybe a few months on the Ovulex will balance everything out.

Hang in there and let me know if you need to talk.  Sammy

Goodmorning,

Ambersparkle & StephMalkowski: Yes, you both will definitely benefit from that book. It really IS a blessing!

Now don't get me wrong; it is not some book that is full of magic tricks that if you speak, you will all of a sudden become pregnant..........but it is a book full of God's Word consisting of prayers & faith confessions, that if you really BELIEVE.....then it will come to pass for you. Why? because God's Word CANNOT return back to Him void, without it accomplishing that which it was sent to accomplish.

Let us know if we can help you guys with anything else.....

Love ya,
Monica

Sammy71: Wow, we have something in common. My husband is also alot older than I am (13 years older). I am 33 and he is about to turn 46. He too thought that he wouln't be able to impregnate me; so when I bought the geritol tonic.....we ended up sharing it for about 2 weeks...and WALLA; WE WERE PREGNANT!!
I think that it really does help.....

Take Care,
Monica

Hey everyone,

AF came today for real, not just spotting!  I've never been so glad to see her in my life!  I'm going to ask my dr. tomorrow if she thinks I should stop Ovulex or not, but I already feel much better!  And I have no cramps (usually I can hardly move it hurts so bad), so maybe the Ovulex did help with that *fingers crossed*  GL to everyone!

Monica,
I'm 35 and my DH just turned 48 last week sp the age difference is the same.  DH is in excellent health and "his guys" are fine so it's really just an issue with me.  We each have a son from a previous marriage.  DH's first wife left him when his son was 18 months old and he has raised him by himself for 15 years.  We both wanted more kids but life didn't work out the way we planned.  Now we are putting it in God's hands and asking him to take control.  DH says if it happens naturally then he'll be thrilled but doesn't want to go the doctors and chemical routes and I agree since I went that route with my first husband and I think it was one of the factors that caused us to divorce.

I do pray daily and hope that my prayers will be answered like "Rachel, Hannah and Sarah".

LeslieAnn,
So glad AF came for you....now on to the baby pursuit.  Let us know what your Dr. says.

My OB/GYN said it is fine to take (no harmful drugs or side effects) and it's worth a try.  He's a great guy and very understanding, of course he's been on this journey with me for 13 years.

Sending Baby Dust your way for this month!!!

Hey Sammy,

Thanks for your support.  I feel like maybe I was just being a little paranoid and things will be okay.  I'll have to see what the dr. says.

GL to you and everyone else this month!  I will keep you all in my prayers!

Sammy and Amber I am happy I could help you girls, I'm telling you the Lord used that book to change my thinking and build my hope and faith.  Yes the tonic is horrible but I believe it helps.  If you need anything else, or even just to talk we are all here for you

By the way we are truly sisters
