i wanted to ask if anyone got the baby toddler? if yes does it really work or it is not worth buying? I know it would put my mind at ease if it works but don't want to buy one if you can't really hear anything!!

Nadia I'm so glad you are feeling reassured!  Are you talking about the headphones to listen to the baby?  If yes don't bother I bought one with my last pregnancy and it didn't work, I think I was picking up my heartbeat most of the time!  I have heard women talking about renting one (a good one) that seems to work well I was thinking of looking into that! because I'm always nervous lately!!
Isn't it so great to see the baby moving and the little heartbeat!!  I'm starting to really get nervous about the whole 2 babies thing!  I'm really excited I'm just wondering how I'm going to manage! 2 baths 2 diapers 2 feedings AHHHH! It will all be worth it in the end!!

Jamielee,
Hi, it's anniekate. I couldn't log on forever, (anyone else experience this??), so I just tried and it finally worked. I just read your post and figured out that you have twins! CONGRATULATIONS! Remember, so do I!  Do you STILL not have nausea?? If so, my cousin who had healthy fraternal twins last November had no nausea either. She carried two beautiful babies (a boy and girl) to term! So, BE THANKFUL. I'm telling you, I have continued to be so nauseated for these eleven weeks (today!). Pluss I was diagnosed with PUPP--a harmless to baby but itchy pregnancy rash. It doesn't normally appear until 35 WEEKS, but because I have twins, it came early. The doctor said it will come and go throughout the pregnancy. It's basically hives that takes over the abdomen, breasts, and thighs Lovely, I know. So, I have creams and an antihistamine to help with itching. It basically isn't too bad as long as I don't touch it.  Anyway, it will all be worth it.

How far  along are you again??

Hi Anniekate, I am 9 weeks today, and yes I am pretty sick now!  Still spotting a bit here and there but the doc said everything looks fine.  I'm still kind of worried about it though!  but being sick does help ease my mind a bit!  I can't wait for a few more weeks to be sure all is well!  I'm pretty happy that we get to have an u/s every 4 weeks with twins!  Can't wait to see them again!

you only get to have an ultrasound every 4 weeks? that is to little, here i have a scan every 2 weeks. I would go crazy if i had to stay that long. Jamie i know that you have a child already right? Anyone here doesn't have children already?

Yes only every 4 weeks, I thought that was good but I wish I can have them every 2 weeks like you!  My doctor called and said I have a bladder infection and wants me on bedrest for 3 or 4 days due to my spotting!  I hate this I'm finally pregnant and can't enjoy it!

Thanks nadia, the thing is that I really need to work I have alot of bills  adding up and I'm worried what we will do if I need to be out for a while!  If I didn't have to work than I would be perfectly happy vegging out and letting my babies grow!  We just started a business and put most of our extra money to that and at a very bad time I must say!

Thanks I appreciate your positivity!  I'm started to get depressed and worried about the babies!  My spotting has slowed down to barely anything again but I just want to know they are ok!  I have been over the toilet all day and yesterday as well!  Can't stop getting sick, I lost 6 pounds!!  I started my amoxicillin for my bladder infection, I'm hoping that it will maybe take care of my problems!  (what ever they are)

Jamie, it sounds like you are having a bad time. I am still pretty sick but at least I do not have a bladder infection to go with it!! Hope the amoxcillin kicks in quickly and it clears up. I have had enough of being sick but can't see it stopping any time soon. I am also dead tired at the end of the day - going to bed very early!! I really have to say I hate being pregnant. I just keep telling myself the outcome is totally worth it.

Thanks Jane, I felt better today barely any nausea and no throwing up!  I was thinking,  I have been spotting since before my preg test, so I should calm down and accept that thats the way its going to be for now! right? I mean 2 great u/s have to be a  good sign!

Where is everyone??  I have had a bad week!  I had a heavy bleed on tues. with clots and all!  went to the ER and after 3 1/2 hours had an u/s showing to very healthy babies moving around like crazy!  I can't believe it clots, bleeding and my babies are ok??  I am still very worried I passed a few more clots today but with hardly any bleeding just spotting!  I am a wreck!!  I'm praying to find a reason for this to ease my mind!  I have an appointment on mon.  and hopefully they are still hanging in there!! I am 10 weeks now I can't bare the thought of losing either of them after seeing how full of life they are!!  Please pray for me!!

Sorry you are having such a bad time Jamie but great news that the babies are dong fine. Hopefully you will get some answers on Monday. I have made arrangements to have my reduced down to two. Am feeling a little nervous but are all the reading etc I have done I believe it is the right thing to do to ensure I have a healthy outcome.

Let us know how you get on on Monday Jamie. I hope the rest of you are doing OK.
