no don't worry you are not spotting!  I think cramping is quite normal in fact I was nervous last week when I stopped cramping.  Are they bad cramps or sharp? mine have just been very mild and off and on which happens I remember from my last pregnancy!  my spotting is almost gone for now, I hope it doesn't come back!  at least for today!!

Really I wouldn't worry I had them throughout my first trimester!  and they may get worse as your uterus stretches!  I wish I only had mild cramping because this is freaking me out! I'm suprised your Dr was concerned because I talked to my nurse and she said with my spotting I could work!  and not to worry this happens alot!

Hi Everyone,
I just caught up on all the posts since yesterday!  I have friends who both spotted and cramped and had healthy babies. I think it's hard because ofcourse sometimes it can be bad, but it's hard to know exactly if yours is the healthy kind or not. But I think because of your high numbers, Jamie, I would have a lot of hope. Nadia, cramping is totally fine.
Well, we have really good news. Our ultrasound went beautifully this morning~and it's TWINS!! Each embryo measured perfectly for 8 1/2 weeks--8.2 and 8.4, and each had strong heartbeats-160 and 175. I couldn't believe my eyes, and we could hear the heartbeat!  For weeks I've been really concerned about a tubal because of pain on my right side,...so we are deeply relieved.  We will pick and ob and get started down that path now.  Thank you all for listening and supporting me over this last week of waiting. I will be eager to hear your news as it unfolds....

Great news Annie Kate. You must be delighted. How wonderful for you. Isn't it so nice when you hear the heartbeat.

Jamie - why don't you call your RE and explain about all the spotting and ask to bring your US forward. I can understand why you would want it ASAP hopefully they will too. What kind of progesterone are you taking? I know some people who stop and cramp on and off with the progesterone and as soon as they stop taking it it stops.

The spotting stopped early yesterday afternoon.  Please don't come back!  Its so very light and turns to a clear discharge.  I am going to call on monday maybe they will let me get my blood work done again if anything!  This has been happening since before my bfp and they keep saying its fine.  1st time the day before my bfp, then last monday and yesterday. I was also wondering if it was the progesterone mine was 177 last time.

Annie Kate have you found anything that helps the morning sickness? My doctor gave me something but it doesn't really make any difference. I will have to see if I can get some Zophran.  Anything that will give me a break from this feeling.

hey girls... my cramps stopped thank god but not my back. Any idea what that could be?it is mainly lower back pain, not very painful but a bit annoying. i feel like i need a 24/7 massage. i did my beta just to be sure today and they were more than 10,000  and i have my first ultrasound after tomorrow and i will be 5w7d. I really hope everything will be fine. Jamie i am still like you no pregnancy symptoms except that i sleep so much. Hopefully we both get good news soon.

Annie kate congratulations i am so happy for you. i hope everything goes smooth for you and the twins.

Jane so sorry about your morning sickness i really hope you feel better very soon.

Nadia - I had this dull pain in my back - I think it is to do with your ligaments and everything loosing up.

Jane,
What works incredibly is the Zophran. Your insurance might cover it, so I would definitely check into it. If not, it is $30/pill. We got enough for the two days a week that I work until school is out--12 pills. In between I have Phenegran, which is cheap and sort of takes the edge off,...but makes you ultra drowsy.

It is a horrible feeling, and I bet yours is worse with triplets.  I say it is worth the money for the Zophran, and maybe you'll be fortunate and your insurance will cover it.

Have you made any decisions yet regarding your situation. It is such a hard one. I will pray for wisdom for you!! Keep me posted.

Hope everyone else is coping well with all the discomforts of early pregnancy. It will be well worth it at the end of 9 months,...but right now it seems like forever!

I have Primperan and it sounds the same as Phenegran just takes the edge off. I am going back to my doctor in a week. I will see if I can make it that long and ask for some Zophran. Are you actually vomiting? I have started. I am concerned because I felt awful and vomited right to the end with my last pregnancy. Some days I am almost unable to function. Lucky DH is a star and does everything for me!

No decisions yet but probably we will go for a reduction. Will have to play it a little by ear. Next ultrasound is in a week and then I think we will have to decide.

Hi Ladies~

Maybe someone can help me to understand, I went to the RE's office Monday and the did a blood test, well I thought I was going to hear "Your P/g or your not" but what I heard was, Don't get excited your beta is 7, I have to go back in tomorrow for another test. I have a history of m/cs, is this beta not a good sign? I guess by tomorrow it should be at least 56, I won't get the results back until Friday. I am a nerves wreck, any info will be greatly appreciated! Thanks Tiffany

Tiffany,  good luck  I'm not sure how low the #'s can start but if you were reading the other posts Valerie started at 16 and is really looking good so keep the faith!

I finally started feeling very sick!  Started Easter morning,  I couldn't get up without gagging!  Then just feeling lousy all day since!  I feel a little better today but the nausea is still lurking in the background!  I haven't spotted since last week,  and I just know it will come back because thats whats been happening since day1!  but I feel reassured by my nausea!  I called the nurse and she still doesn't seem to be concerned!  We will find out on Monday!!  I pray everything is ok!!
