Hi Liz,

Af will arrive sometime around Christmas that would be a great Christmas present, I am usually hoping that AF doesn't arrive so its strange to say that, but I would really love to start this cycle.....

Thanks for the offer of the meds if the nurse didn't offer
the Menopur the co-pay is $465 for 15 vials, its the only drug with a high co-pay for us all other drugs were $30 I am hoping the 15 vials she gave was enough, I am sure it will be I think you only stim for approx.. 11 days depending how you respond to meds....

We just went Christmas shopping this weekend I actually got alot done we just need to buy a few things for my MIL we spend so much money around the holidays

I will keep you posted, I haven't heard from Jessica she was so kind and helpful in explaining the whole IVF process to me, I hope she received a BFP...

Take care god bless

Hi Alexa,

I hope you and your family had a very Merry Christmas.

Sorry it is taking me so long to respond, I was beyond busy the past couple of weeks.  I felt like I didn't know which way to turn and unfortuantly my emailing got thrown to the back burner.    Anyway, I think things have finally settled down now that the holidays are over so I am trying to get myself back on track.  lol

How are you feeling?  Did af come to visit yet?  I sure hope so.  You can start your stims and move forward.

I hope all is well.  I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Liz,

How are you? I hope you had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I have been so busy with the Holidays and my DD that I just didn't have a second to write my DD received a mini wooden piano for Christmas, I am thinking we need to return it, she is not showing much of an interest in it and
it sure does take up space, we are going to be looking for a house in the spring so maybe I will keep it for when we have more space...

I am doing good, I am in the starting process for IVF
and staying very hopeful, I am happy to hear your U/S appt went well...

Take Care,
Alexa

Hi Alexa,

Good to hear from you.  I know the busy feeling.  I didn't know which way I was going for the past couple of weeks.  I am actually really looking forward to some quiet time now that the holidays are over.

How old is your dd?  Any possibility that maybe she is just overwhelmed with all the Christmas presents and it hasen't hit her yet with the piano?

Congrats on starting the IVF process.  What are you currently doing/medications?  I will keep my fingers crossed for you and a successful first attempt.  Keep me updated on how things are going!

I must get back to work!
Talk to you later.
Take care,
Liz

Hi Liz,

Wow time is flying by you are already 24 weeks prego thats awesome, you must be getting excited to see the baby!

I had not been feeling well for a week or two so I had my blood drawn and they found that my body is not asborbing Vit B12 so they are giving me injections to up my level I have 2 more shots one a week then they will check my levels again if ok then they will give me a supplement I am not sure if its going to be prescription  or not but they are hoping my body asborbs it after my levels have been straigtned out, if not it looks like I will have to have injections weekly forever...

I have been feeling dizzy & lightheaded and low levels of B12 cause a tingling feeling in your arms and legs at times, because low levels of B12 effects the  nerves...

My PCP says it has no impact on IVF so I am still continuing with it I just hope I feel back to normal....
I am alittle worried with all the injections I will have to do...

Hope all is well

Hi Alexa,

I am so sorry to hear you are having trouble with your B12 absorbation.  I have never heard of that before.  I am glad they seemed to find it rather quickly and are getting you back on track.  Is this something that you may have had for a long time and it is just being discovered because of all the testing you have been going through?

I can understand your concern for having to do so many injections.  It is enough to scare anyone but remember it is only temporary.

Will this be the month for your IVF?

I am doing very well.  Baby Samantha is a kicking machine and often it is uncomfortable for me but all for a good cause.  It is an awesome feeling to be able to feel her moving all around and trust me there is little still time with this little one.  lol

I hope you are feeling better.  Take care

Alexa,

Yes, time sure does fly by.  I am happy to here your hsg went well, that is very reassuring.  Wow the beginning of Feb. for your retrival, that is so exciting.  How are you feeling with the vit. b problem?

We picked the name Samantha Dale.  Dale is my middle name and thought it would be nice to keep the tradition.  I know she will hate us growing up for it, just like I did but once she is an adult she will hopefully realize how cool it is to be a little different.  I know once I grew up a little I really liked my middle name so I can just hope.  Who knows maybe she will end up liking it all along.

We are in the process of building a house.  My dh is doing the all the building with the help of family and friends.  It is a very long process and we will probably be moving in around Aug or Sept.  when Samantha is 5-6 months old.  So I have decided I am not going to go all out in our exisiting house with her room and wait until we are in the house to do it exactly the way I want.  I also like the idea of seeign her personality before I design it, it works out pretty well.

I must get back to work.  Keep in touch and good luck!

Liz

Hi Liz,

I like the name Dale my dad's close friend is named
Dale ( male) but I knew this girl named Dale also...
I think its a cute name and I am sure she will love it too..

My B12 situation is fine now it was just a temporary thing..I am feeling back to my normal self again...

I was reading on other posts a while back that you were building a house thats awesome, we plan to buy one next year hopefully, we have gone to look at a few but I am very fussy I grew up in a huge house 4 bedrooms 3 bathrooms so its hard to down size when your use to a spacious house...my husband is going crazy we just can't seem to agree on things...LOL

Take care
