Hi, just found out I tested positive for MTHFR homo. I've been put on baby aspirin and Lovenox injections. I had a m/c last year....seems like forever since we've been ttc. I didn't even realize I was p/g this time since I didn't have a period (I thought due to progesterone suppositories). I don't know how far along I am - maybe just a few weeks. I'm scared because I haven't had any p/g symptoms and today noticed brown slimy discharge in my urine - only happened this morning and haven't noticed anything else throughout the day. I see my Dr on Thursday. I'm terrifed this will end in another miscarriage. It took so long to get over the first m/c...I'm just trying to go day by day, but it gets rough. Thanks for listening.

Hi Welcome!
I haven't posted much but i read thru these posts lots!
I myself am mthfr homo too. I also found out that i have a protein c deficieny, and have been prescribed clomid(my cycles aren't regular) poss. luteal phase defect, and progesterone suppositories, folgard, and 40mg lovenox inj. Wheh! that's a mouth full!! lol. Try not to be nervous at least they seem to be treating you! Just wondering why doctor put u on baby asa & lovenox? I've read mixed things about the two 2-gether?/ Maybe it's just a preference, anyway i'm going to ttc this cycle. i have had 4 early m/c's, last one was last April. Have hope and believe everything will be ok. As for the slimy d/c i wouldn't be too concerned over a 1 time thing. Good Luck..positive thoughts and baby dust ur way!! Alaine

I was told this week that I have MTHFR. I have it on both copies of my genes. Is that considered homo? I am a little confused about that. I take 40mg Lovenox daily. We should be doing our IUI next week.
