Hey Guys! Just wanted to give you  an update... I had the c-section on monday, it was not a bad experience at all for me....I have a healthy 8lb 8.5 oz baby girl....the dr.s said she is 100% healthy....I am doing ok the c-section was not that bad but while I was in the hospital I developed a rash due to my hormone levels or a vaccine they gave me....so just a little word of advice...if they tell you that you need a vaccine for MMR because you are not immune, tell them you will wait until after you recover from your pregnancy...In my opinion the rash is a million times worse than my entire pregnancy... my baby girl is so sweet and wouldnt change it for the world, so all of those who are wondering I have a healthy baby and I was on Lovenox...and I am still nursing....Good Luck to all of You any questions feel free to ask...

Veroki: Yep, at 24 weeks the baby estimated at 1 lbs 12 oz., and then at 27 weeks, 4 days it estimated 2 lbs 9 oz. My doctor says she expected someone of my height and starting weight to ideally gain 25 pounds during the full term, with a tops of about 30 pounds, so she is concerned I will have a very hard time losing the access weight I gain since going into the third trimester signals the start of the majority of weight gain since it's when the baby really picks up the growth. The last ultrasound they couldn't tell me aprox. length since they no longer can measure the baby from crown to rump since it won't all fit on the ultrasound to do that measurement. I don't know if that's typical or not but they said the baby's weight was still in the normal range, but at the high end of normal for its estimated weight so far. She also said that my personal weight gain doesn't necessarily correlate with the weight the baby is putting on.

hafletcher~ congrats! im soo happy for you! im glad th c-section went well!

melissa~ motherhood has a spandex band to extend the life of your jeans, like the bella band, thats what your looking for right?

i just did my baby registry today, holy moly i was in the store for 3 hours, i was so frustrated and had no idea what my baby actually needed. when i got home and looked at my registry i ended up changing half the things on there after reading the reviews on the product. and to top it all off i dont think im even done! i tried to register for cheaper things than i normally would(i really wanted Chicco brand everything but too expensive!) have because im really counting on my baby shower for everything that i need, me and dh are on a tight budget and really wont have any money to buy baby stuff and we dont want people to not show up cause our items are too much. im lucking out big time that my mom is buying the baby furniture, but still there is so much i need and this is the first baby in my family in a long time so hand me downs do not exsist.

if you guys are bored and want to check it out heres my Registry #:  44062066 its @ babiesrus.com . maybe you can give me tips on what i do and dont need on there.

bdantonio~ did you figure out the pciture thing? hows the baby? how are you feeling now?

watergazer~ im glad they finally said theyd induce! it really does sound like your going to have a big baby! how did they estimate the baby's szie? with measurements or from the u/s? mine was exact from the u/s and they said she was right in the middle not too big not too small so i cant blame her for my massive 33lb weight so far.

i was very nervous about getting Gestational diabetes or having hyper tension cause of startign out overweight and then putting on so much weight thus far, but everytime i go to the doctors my blood pressure is normal and i just got the results from my glucose test and i passed with a 95, i guess if your over 130 you fail.  i am the healthiest fat person ever! lol! its so funny but aside from the clotting issue and taking lovenox, i have always been very healthy, even though obese, makes no sense, the girl who sit next to me at work is due the same week as me, pre-pregnancy she was 115 and now weighs all of 125 and she just failed her glucose test, go figure.

still though, im scared of how much more weight i can put now from and the next 13 weeks, so far ive been averaging a 2- 2.5 gain a week in the 2nd trimester, and i hear you put most of it on the the last trimester!!! im hoping  the max i reach is 245lbs (i now weigh 229)b/c its still not the fattest ive ever been, 262 lbs! and i figure you lose 15-20lbs right after having the baby so then ill still be better off than when i was at my heaviest.

veroki---if you are planning on breastfeeding .... the weight will melt off.  Or at least it will seem that way.  That is how I lost my baby weight the first time.  It was harder the second time around cause I didn't have a baby to nurse.  But it takes time and consistency.  Unless you are lazy like me.  Than it requires help.  I hate to work out.  LOL.

cladesigns~ whats melt off? how much did you gain and then how long did it take to lose? i do plan on breast feeding if the docs say it ok while on lovenox. i was planning on pumping anyways and throwing it out even if they say i cant and then after the 6 weeks are over and im off of lovenox trying to breast feeding anyways. i heard you burn up to 500 calories a day if you breastfeed, too sweet! i hoping a combo of breast feeding, excercise, and dieting will get me back down quick i know some people say they lose 20lbs right after delivery! i sure hope so.

veroki here are my suggestions on the registration: i have the medella swing pump it works great but i ended up buying a double pump it takes longer with a single and while pumping the one side the other leaks.  The playtex bags you put on do not zipper shut you need ones that zipper shut to store milk.  Aldo i dont see any crib sheets youll need at least 3-5 or youll be washing them alot.  I recommend gerber brand their the softest and thats all my oldest would sleep on, and their not expensive. you may want to put 2 packs of the quick clean wipes from medella for the middle of the night so that you dont have to use the steam bags if you pump. I would also put 2 of the drop in bottles on the list they dont have alot of the bigger bottles in them and you get more use out of them and you can place the bag of breastmilk right in them.  You also do not have a diaper bag or diaper pail refills.  Their is no pacifiers either.  Also you should put cloth diapers on their to use as birb clothes their thicker then birb clothes and absorb better.  You also should put wipes and diapers on their.

Also on another note how far are you from granite city Illinois i have family their.

bdantonio~ thanks for the advice, i really want the double pump but cant think of anyone who would spend $279 on a gift for me. maybe the in-laws.... we have a diaper bag that we bought on clearence so we set there. i did put clthes diapers/burping cloths, they were towards the bottom of the registry. pacifiers, ive always kinda been anti- pacifiers but ive been to showers before where people end up getting 20 of them so figure if i dont register im still bound to get some. ill have to look up the crib sheets you were talking about. the reason i didnt put wipes and diapers is a great idea i got from a friend, she said on my shower invites to put down that were doing a raffle and to enter the raffle they need to bring a bag of diapers and the winner gets a prize($25 gift card or something) that way its a shower game and the people will bring me diapers and a gift! pretty sweet huh?!

ive never heard of granite city, must be pretty far from where i am.

Hello,  I am now 35 weeks pregnant and am on Lovonox shots.  I am suppose to start Heparin shots next weeks.  My pharmasist had a hard time finding Heparin because of a mass recall.  He just called me today and told me he found some and it will be here in 3-4 days.  I am scared to take it.  Why the recall?  Is anyone else on it right now or switching to it.

Veroki, I dont like pacifiers either but i read alot of studies that states it lowers the chances of SIDS, if the baby uses it to fall asleep for the first 6mths so i did it this time.  Also i got my double pump on ebay brand new for 1/4 of the  price it was never even opened.  The person bought it then decided not to pump and you cant return them.  Granite City is about 1/2 hour outside of st louis MO i have family their.

veroki---I was just saying the weight would melt off, cause it seemed to come off pretty quickly.  I had a pre-baby weight of 120lbs for my first pg and by 29 weeks I was up to 160lbs.  I didn't make it to 40 weeks.  So who knows how much I would have gained.  My son was in the hospital for 8 weeks and I pumped during that time.  It took me about 4-6 months to loose the weight.  But I wasn't exercising.  Like I said....I hate to work out.  So I just let it come off.  I didn't loose all of it though.  I got down to about 125lbs.  I started my second pg at 135lbs though.  I was up to 145 at 20 weeks, when I delivered Jonathon.  I have not worked out at all and I just recently weighed myself and I am down to 130lbs.  We have recently moved into a two story home and I have been making at least 8 trips up and down the stairs each day.  So I guess I am working out a little.

I am trying to get up early before work and work out a little before I go to work to help get my weight back down to 120lbs.  But I am really lazy and hate to get out of bed.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Anyone---How do you motivate yourself to get up in the morning?  My only child is 6 and he doesn't get out of bed until I get him up.  So the only thing that I have to wake me up is my alarm.  Which I have a habit of hitting the snooze, over and over again.  LOL.  Any advice??

spoorkimberly, I believe all the Heparin was recalled because it was made in China and was bad. For whatever reason many hospitals had an abundant supply and weren't going to get the new version until they ran through the ones from China. I believe I recently read where that is not the case anymore since so many Hospitals have been sued over it.  Just make sure to ask where it is made and how long they have had it. They might not like getting the questions but unless you take matters into your own hands who knows what they will give you. I am sure it will all work out fine though...
