Hey Heather, nine weeks seems like a long time, you would think they would want to moniter your hormone levels since you went through so much to get to this point. And another BFP from a blood test would just make you that much happier. I know it is a psychological thing to be afraid to do anything so that you don't accidentally shake him/her loose, but I'm sure he/she has a good grip . Still remember to take it easy and enjoy the morning sickness
Afternoon Susan, I'm doing 50mg clomid d2-6 , and I go for IUI the next morning after I get a positive ovulation test in the afternoon ( they want me to test between 12-5 pm). I figure every doc has his own variation along the same lines, depending on what he was taught originally, and what has worked in the past. It may be to early for you to get a + if the hormones are too dilute in your body, I'm usually spotting by day 12dpiui so you have gotten further than me so far ( I save alot of $ on hpt that way).
Hey wannababy78, tommorrows the day, make sure they warm up the speculum... it can be quite a shocker. The nurses I had the last two times were very gentle and chatted with me through the procedure and anything to distract me was a good thing.

Good morning ladies, I'm with Lynne, I think nine weeks is a awful long wait. My last pregnancy, they did an US @ 8wks.
I thought I knew my body pretty well, but I guess I don't. Af has still not come. I felt my cp this and it has raised alittle. I don't know what to think. I don't want to be disappointed, so I'm not wanting to do another test. Today is 14dpiui. I had an appointment this morning @ re for blood test, but I canceled because I just knew I wasn't pg. Now I'm second guessing.
i was back on clomid and on my second cycle i got a positive result, now i am at six weeks so happy but just taking each day as it comes as its still early stages. sharron. x
Susan, it still sounds like it is promising. I know you don't want to get your hopes up or be too down.
I finally spoke with the doctor last night and she said that once she saw my progesterone level from day 21 she was pretty sure I would be pregnant. I guess it was really high at that time. I thought they said it was 24 but I don't know if there are other things they look at.
She did not think I need another blood test, I feel weird about this too but I am not sure what to do. She is going to have me come in for my first appointment at 8 weeks. So, only 4 weeks to go. She also told me I should not tell everyone, not to be negitive but just in case. I guess she did that between her first and second pregnancy and regreted it. I guess I will try to relax and not do too much for the next 4 weeks and pray for the best. I am at least a step farther than I have ever been.
Please let me know your progress. I feel like we are all going to be in the same boat again very soon.
8wks sounds about right. At least you have the support of us, to shout it out. I'm sure you'll be fine. Don't stop praying. Are you still not having any symptoms?
Yes, I am still having symptoms. Same as I was, lower back pain, frequent trips to the ladies room and a little discomfort in the chest. I am sure I am pregnant I just want to stay that way.
If you break down for another test at least wait until morning. That is one thing I seem to have learned so far from this experience.
Hi all, I'm little late in cycle, but I had my IUI this morning. Now the waiting game begins. I asked my RE's office to have b/w done on 14DPIUI rather than POAS. So they agreed and I got it scheduled for June 8th. Crossing my fingers....Keep me and other wonderful ladies who is trying so hard to have a baby in your thoughts.
Hey Ladies, I'm still on the dreaded 2ww for what feels like forever..... I'm only 2.5dpiui so nothing yet. I have felt really crampy the last two days but who knows, to get my mind off of things I went for a walk to the YMCA ( in the rain), and had a good cardio workout, nice shower and went to visit some friends. I'm thinking that a BFP is just as stressful as getting there, atleast for the first couple of months.
I agree the best time to get an accurate hpt is in the morning... first thing after getting up. That way the hormones are more concentrated and will show up on the test strip.
I'm stuck waiting till about June 5 before I can get excited, the clinic gave me a requisition for the pregnancy test for the 6th of June so it's sitting on the fridge staring at me every time I walk in to the kitchen. I'm gonna go insane, but what else is new.
Susan, let us knnow what's up, and keep up hope, I'm usually af by 14dpiui so yooour farther along than I get. Good luck.
Baby dreams to us all, and it's a bit closer for some of us. Lynne.

I too am on the 2 ww on my 2nd IUI, ttc 4 years. My IUI was on 5/18. This waiting is so hard and every cramp makes me think AF is on the way. I want so much to trust in God's timing but sometimes my heart gets in the way.... Baby dust and dreams to all.
Lynne you are another day down. I don't know if that cramping is a good sign but it was the same sign I had too, right after my IUI. I just thought something was wrong with my IUI that caused it. Maybe that is the case...maybe not.
How are you doing Susan? Any news?
Welcome Shelly. Other people on this site say that cramping is a good sign so hang in there.
Nothing new with me. Another day. It is terrible that you forge through the 2ww and now you have a 2 month wait to see if it will stick. I do feel blessed to finally be past the first step and I am waiting for you guys. I am trying to just enjoy and what happens does. This process really does force you to try to let things happen as they do. I have never been good at that.
Yep one day at a time..... I'm gonna go nuts, but atleast my weekend is a busy one so I should be distracted until atleast Monday, and to tell the truth all next week is pretty full of stuff, not to mention the usual house work and keeping the old man happy. I think we are all hopeing to join you Heather.
Hi Shelly, my iui was a few days after you so I wish you luck, I'm hopeing third times the charm for me.
Hey Susan, anything new yet?
I should get going, maybe some sex for fun tonight.

I had 3 rounds of clomid and then my girlfriend who went through a lot of infertility stuff told me before I go any farther to have those 2 things done to make sure nothing else was going on before we went any farther.
I had the laparoscopy done in February and the HSG done late march. I was told the HSG has fertility side effects for a few months after since when the dye is shot through your tubes it cleans everything out.
I don't think I had mentioned having those things done.
