Hey Susan, sometimes I feel for the women who have never had the experience of carrying a child have a harder time dealing with this rollercoaster. In alot of ways we have it "easier" since we have our memories to carry us through the bad times. And we don't have as many pressures to concieve. That doesn't mean that I wouldn't be absolutely thrilled to have a baby but it is not as stressful when we don't get the news we hope for.
I've got to get out and pick up some more ovulation test kits for next week, and weather through the family stuff on Sunday ( the when are you two going to get married and have some kids, as if we haven't been trying, and after being together for almost 6 years what's the hurry with legalizing our marriage). Okay here I go venting again... I best just get going, already got rid of my brother this am, ( he wanted $), and Cypris is going to visit her father for the day, he should be here soon. I've got a YMCA training class to go to aswell, ( and I have to register for another class, so much for any extra spending $ this weekend).
Oops I should get dishes out of the way before I leave the house this am, I don't want to see them sitting there tonight when I go to make supper. Baby dreams to us all. Lynne.

Morning,
It has been a busy work morning so this is the first chance I have had to write.
I am feeling better this morning after a good nights rest. I don't know why I just get more down than usual sometimes. I am not sure if it is all the hormones from the clomid???
Susan, I will go to a specialist if needed. We don't have any in our town so it would be an hour away and with work and 2 step children it is difficult.
I agree Lynne it is really difficult when you have not had one experience of having a child but I always think that is because I feel emotional. But I am sure it will still mean a lot to you both to have another one. You both know it is possible so that is great.
We are getting rain today so I am glad I did yard work last night. It is suppose to last all through the week so I don't need to water my lawn. It feels kind of nice.
Well, gotta pick up my step daughter at preschool. Get this next day down. Only 5 more days to go...

Hey Ladies, do you have any news yet ?... how are things going ? , I've got 2 days to my IUI so I'm stuck in a holding pattern. Yep I'm bored .. the old man took Cypris and went to wash the car, and as soon as they get back we are off to the brotherinlaw's for supper. So I'm just waiting for them, nothing on TV, and I don't want to start on anything that I can't finish. I'm gonna go stir crazy.... oops here they are. Baby dreams to us all. Lynne.

Hello Lynne,
No news for myself to report yet. Today is 11-dpo. I have had a headache this last evening and today but I can't decided whether it is related to this or that the kids each had a friend stay over last night.
My chest hurts a little like I almost worked out but that has happened other times just due to clomid.
That is exciting that you are going for your next round of IUI. Hopefully this is the one!!!
As the days get closer I almost get more down. Not sure if it is because I am waiting for the disappointment. I need to try and stay positive. My husband is so good at staying postive but he does not have all these hormones racing through his body.
Have a great evening. Dreaming of babies for all of us... ~Heather

Good morning ladies, I hope you both had a great weekend.
Lynne, I guess tomorrow is the big day?
Heather, how are you feeling?
I started spotting this morning. I usually spot a few days before AF. I guess it's not going to happen this month. My breast are sore. Probably due to AF. This sucks! Maybe I shouldn't give up hope until she actually comes.
Hope you girls have a great day. Baby dust to all!

Morning,
I am feeling about the same. By breasts are sore too but as I said, I have had this before using clomid.
That is what my husband says is that I should not give up hope until af comes. Just two more days after today and I should know something one way or another. I would rather just be sad and get it over with than all this waiting but I know one time I will finally be happy with the answer.
Susan, don't you have just one more day than me for 14 dpo?
I hear some spotting is good if it is light and brown. That is what I have read. I went through a lot of the stories on the web site, twoweekwait.com and that is a symptom that others had.
Well, gotta get some work done so that I can stay busy and get through another day.

Hey Heather, My 14dpiui is Thursday. The spotting is light brown. I guess I shouldn't give up hope for this month. I know my body pretty well. I just feel that this isn't the month. I hope I'm wrong. I broke down this morning and took a hpt. Negative. Last time I was pg, I took a hpt around 10th or 11th day & got a +. I feel really down right now. You and your hubby are right, shouldn't give up until AF comes.
Thanks for your input.

Hi Susan,
I wish I was as positive as my dh. I am in your boat and feel really down. I told my dh that this was not the month on Saturday and that is when he told me to not give up yet. I still feel like it is not. I hope that I am wrong too. I keep telling him I hope that sometime soon he can say I told ya so.
Did you take an early hpt?

Hi, I did take the hpt today and it was neg. This is day 11 for me. I was sick last night with vomiting and diarrhea. I was up and down most of the night. My DH said last night, "you have to be pg". It's unlike me. I felt like I would test + today. ..NOPE. I went to the website you had mention earlier. Some woman do spot around 10th or 11th day. I guess I still have some hope. I just feel that af is going to start soon. I guess I'll know by the end of the wk.
I checked my cp and it seems somewhat soft. I think sometimes I wanting to be pg so bad, I'm feeling things that really aren't there.
Hope you start feeling lifted soon!
I'm praying for all of us that want little ones.
Susan

It sounds like your having some...not fun... but good signs.
I was wondering if you did the hpt that was for early testing or if you just did a regular one. I was wanting to try the early hpt but I am not sure of the success rate.

Oops, sorry.
I took a dollar tree hpt. It's suppose to read 25 mlU. I used the same brand when I was pg last and it read + but faint the same day as the brand the doctor used. The doctor also showed a faint line. I'm don't sure if Dollar tree's are nationwide. I'm in North Carolina.

We do have dollar trees here. I had not thought of checking them out for an hpt but I just might. Good to know.
I just wish there was a way to know one way or another a little earlier. This waiting is so maddening.

I just got a call from the nurse re: my progesterone test. It was great and she said I might be able to take a blood test and get a good response now.
I like NOW! I am tired of this wondering stuff.
Wish me luck! Heather

I think we are wishing you more than just luck Heather, I want to hear someone have some good news. Yep my IUI is tommorrow morning, my ovulation test kit was positive this afternoon at 2:30ish and the lines were brighter than last time so I'm doing the educated guess that will ovulate tommorrow early afternoon about 5 hours after the IUI. It's so anticlimatic at this point, and I sprained my wrist yesterday so I can't even help the old man with his part of tommorrow... poor baby.
I don't look forward to the 2ww but I guess we really don't get the choice. I've only ever seen one positive tester strip for pregnancy and I was really ( 2 months) pregnant before I knew ( I wasn't supposed to be able to get pregnant but oops... we were wrong. ). I have the early hpt kit waiting in my bathroom, ( it stares at me every morning).
I'm hopeing for the best for both of you, as I settle in to the 2ww. Baby dreams to us all. Lynne.

Well, the nurse was just a tease. She called this afternoon to make sure I understood the progesterone results and then she asked when I would test and I said, I figured day 28 of my cycle. She asked if anyone told me what day and I said no so she went to ask.
She called back and said the doc said to wait until day 26 of my cycle. I said, today is day 26 of my cycle. So she goes and talks to the doc again and and calls back and the doctor said to wait until day 30 of my cycle and to do a urine test then.
Does she not know not to tease a person in my situation!!! If she does not know just say I don't know but I will find out. I was so let down but 2 more days and I will use a regular test.
I have a slight fever tonight, 99.1 and some diarrhea. Not sure if I am getting sick. I am going to take a hot shower and rest and hopefully the kids will keep themselves a little entertained. I feel so tired tonight.
Well, sorry Lynne for no news. I too want to hear some success stories from just IUI and Clomid. I hear so many from IVF.
I will think good thoughts for you tomorrow morning. This has got the be the time.
Take Care, Baby Dust dreams... Heather
